Check in very good receptionist was very helpful and polite. We were actually upgraded with a junior suite which was very spacious with very large balcony. Good room service hotel was in very good position with all amenities nearby

I really don't have anything bad to say except that the hotel should employ some additional cleaning staff. The staff have a lot to do.

I don't usually like touristy places but Platanias had a lovely feel about it. Not too many people, although this may have been because we went in September. We visited the War Museum - definitely worth it. Also went to John the Hermit cave and monastery at Kissimo which were unbelievable.
Beach was great and snorkeling trip fantastic and well looked after.

Touristy beach town extending along one road with lots and lots of restaurants, bars, hotels etc. lovely to get away from the road onto the beach. Beach was calmer and more relaxed away from the town centre.

The beach is nice, one can enjoy both sunrise & sunset at it. Warm waters. You must have beach shoes, as it is mostly made of rocks. You can go around by foot or bus, which runs every 20-30 minutes. Platanias has a good variety of shops, bar, restaurants to choose from, but our favourite by far was the SUN RISE BEACH RESTAURANT. Great food, generous portions, value for money and absolutely friendly team.

A great place for swimming, eating well and having summer fun with the family. It is also easy to make day trips to e.g. Hania, Rethymno or other towns by bus. There is also a fun waterpark Limnoupolis nearby.

Great place to visit - so many restaurants to choose from, too many to mention!! Lots of shops to buy olive oil, gifts, etc. I have also never seen so many supermarkets in one place, ever! Just brilliant.

So many things to like! For starters we got a room upgrade which made things so much better for our stay. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful especially at reception and the bar. The all inclusive option was well worth it, highly recommend for families. We were able to use some of the facilities at the hotel right opposite which was lovely. Decent variety of food and drinks. The location was also perfect, lots of shops and restaurants around and only 20-25 mins drive to Chania town.
The apartment is very nice with an amazing view. Very comfortable and equipped with all the necessary. The hosts are very kind and willing to accommodate you at their best. The 🏠 is on on top to an hill so if driving with the car better a smaller one as roads are narrow. Platanias square with all restaurants and shops is few minutes walking distance. Neighborhood is very vibrant and the location is perfect to explore Chania area and the amazing beaches around.
The location of this property is right in the heart of Platanias. Right on the beach with direct access and it’s own lingers: all serviced by the hotel. Breakfasts lovely with a late bar to relax after an evening out. Pool lovely and meticulously clean. Plenty of space to lounge and relax with staff available to serve drinks & snacks. Rooms clean & comfortable.
Absolutely world class, the pictures don't lie! Only 5-10 mins walk from a strip with bars and restaurants, and the beach too. Only 30 mins drive from chania and only an hour's drive from Samaria Gorge!
The hosts are really helpful and supportive, easy to contact and even offered us extra beds for comfort!
