The host Dimitris was wonderful to us. Our favourite stay on the Peloponnese. We stayed 3 nights in the tower room - so enchanting. All the rooms are unique and beautiful. Then there is the view from the terraces. Wow! We ate breakfast in the lovely garden. (Breakfast was offered for 10euro-worth it if you like continental breakfast and superb coffee to get started.) The village is traditional (horses roam) and 10 minutes to Areopoli. Dimitri gave us excellent recommendations each morning at breakfast for stops, eating and swimming as we explored East Mani. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The castle makes such a unique stay. It is close to Aeropoli, and a nice stop off for a trip to Monemvassia. Dimitrios and his Wife were very responsive to our needs and provided us with a sumptuous breakfast. The views from our unit were lovely. All in all, an unforgettable experience.

The view from our deck was amazing! The weather was perfect for sitting on the deck (May). For breakfast I had her home made spinach pastry/spanakopita. It was delicious!

Porto Vitilio truly exceeded our expectations! The property and rooms were impeccable. They were comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was incredible and the staff were very friendly. Our stay here made us wish we had more time to enjoy the area!
Pirgos Dhirou was our base. For cave's fans the main landmark is Dhiros caves 500 m from Panorama rooms.
They are extraordinary but they do not belong to our interests.
We did not visit shops or restaurants at Pirgos Dhirou. Only a nice shop with ceramics provided by a very sympathetic couple where we bought some beautiful items.

We loved the location in the mani area, close to the caves and the less touristy areas. Great base for travelling the area, full of beautiful coves and beaches. A bakery, shop, cafe and pharmacy in the village as well as some gift shops.
