A superb location as it was a 3 minute walk to a small beach which had the cleanest water I’ve ever experienced in my global travels. A 5 minute walk the other direction and you are in the middle of a multitude of dining options. Our room had full sea view. The complimentary breakfast was the best computed breakfast we had=ve experienced in 20 hotel stays in Greece. Front desk staff were very helpful

So spacious, spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff. It was an apartment, so had a kitchen living room and long balcony. Also the biggest bed we have ever slept in! It was in a great location, by the beach, just minutes from everything. There’s not many places we would return to, but we woukd come bqck here in a heartbeat.

Not having a car, we took advantage of free minibus transportation to Gialiskari Beach and back. We enjoyed day long hiking trips. The restaurants were crowded, so we preferred takeaway food which we ate on our balcony overlooking the harbor and the ocean.

I liked the unspoilt quality of the place. Not too big or small. Plenty of life but easy to find quiet spots too. Many lovely choices of cafes and restaurants to eat and drink and many friendly people. A real sense of community. A very laid back and chilled out vibe. Lots of walking, cycling, boat trips, swimming or just relaxing doing nothing much. This is the perfect place if you need a holiday to recharge!

Small cosy city with many restaurants and bars, but without the big mass of tourists. Many locals living there and as the road to the place is ending by the sea, there is not that many traffic driving trough the location

Palaiochora is a gem and worth a visit given its superb selection of cafes and restaurants as well as shops. There is some beautiful scenery to be visited nearby although having one's own car helps. The two beaches are absolutely stunning especially the west beach.
It is one of the most delightful and actually quite historic towns in Crete.
One of the most suited to families, couples and retired visitors. It has a relaxed and laid back ambience. Not really for busy seekers of active nightlife though.

The Vakakis family bakeshop is a great place for coffee and sweet treats. Everything we tasted from there was enjoyable.

For me, Paleochora is an ideal place for vacation. a magical town with a couple of excellent beaches, wonderful people, a long coast east-west, with many different and fantastic beaches, which can be visited in various ways, and above all, and for me, the most beautiful, by bike.
In a word, I would like to visit her again for more days.

Harris Studios was a pleasure to stay at in mid November.
The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful with advice provided throughout my stay, and were themselves a pleasure to talk to. I also extended my stay with them after an easy discussion.
The room, facilities and adjoined cafe worked together perfectly. The property, being situated just outside of the centre of town, made for a very peaceful stay in Palaiochora, with the added bonus of a small beach close by and being blessed with some beautiful sunrises!
It's the 2nd year we visit Neapolis apartments and we love our stay there.
It's very conveniently located by the beach and its very close to the centre of Palaiochora as well.
The apartment is of a really good size, has all the facilities and a nice balcony overlooking the beach and sunset.
We love staying there, definitely recommend it.
