It is a lovely old stone house in a great condition.The place is quite remote, so is very quiet in the night.There is everything you need inside and we had one extra electric heater for the bathroom.

The room was nice, very clean and comfy. The owners were extremely polite, very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. They had left fruit and Easter eggs for us. The balcony/terrace was the big plus for the room. It had a wonderful view unobstructed by other buildings. We hadn't realised the room was in the second floor but it was well worth it. Generally we left perfectly pleased with the room

It is in the ideal location for many excursions in the surrounding area, all the main tourist attractions are within 45-60 mins slow drive

The ancient walls are amazing and the ruins of the ancient city were well laid out, but a lot of walking, with great views to the coast. Better than Olympia, and very few tourists.
We walked from the hotel to the town square for a good supper.

In our opinion this spot is really underrated if you compare it for example to Olympia. A couple of things are really well deserved like the gymnasium and wrestling area.
We enjoyed the quietness and the beautifull surrounding.
Lovely hotel with a very nice room, balcony and excellent air conditioner. Super friendly and helpful staff - family-run hotel. 5 minute drive to the fantastic Bouka Beach and also to the Kalamata airport. Shops and restaurants all around. There's also a lovely garden, parking and nice restaurant. Lovely sitting room where they provide breakfast and drinks. Owners went out of their way to help. Would definitely stay there whenever I'm in Kalamata.
What a lovely hotel this is. Everything feels very fresh, clean and well cared for.. Comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, very clean. The staff at this hotel are very welcoming and friendly as well. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety and great coffee. I'll definitely stay here again. And the town is a great spot for exploring the area and it isn't touristy at all!
We loved everything! Great appartement very well equiped, close to many good and cheap restaurants (4/5 mn walk) and to supermarkets (5 minutes drive) and between old Messini (our favorite site so far) and Kalamata. Beautiful beaches (8/9 mn drive) and waterfalls (25 mn). Great hosts who were very friendly, very reactive and very helpful. A great place to stay!!!
The location was perfect if you need to be near the airport, quite good for general amenities, which for us was all we needed.

Would seek this hotel out on a return to Kalamata.
Breakfast was good, mainly fresh local produce,taken in the quiet of the courtyard. A friend recommended Messana for its proximity to Arxaia Messini (archeological site) which I visited every day.
