The town is super cute and versatile. There are restaurants, taverns and coffee shops everywhere, shops as well. The beach is near, there are many activities and sites to see and 20-minute ride from the centre, there are also amazing hiking places and a lot of museums.

A historic and highly symbolic town associated with the Greek uprising against the Ottoman Empire in the early 19th c.
Strongly recommend a visit to the garden of heroes where it is moving for a Greek to see how many people from European nations and beyond came to help the cause of the Greek revolution. Would also recommend a visit to the lagoons and a taste of the locally produced avgotaraho (bottarga).
Very clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment in the center of Mesolongion, not far from many restaurants and bars. Check-in was easy and worked smoothly and the host was very friendly and helpful in providing local information.
Nice location and price on the low end. The fridge had a nicely functioning freezer, perfect for cold water and ice cream during the hot days. The hotel offers 24h reception.
There is free municipal parking nearby.
Nikos is the kindest and most helpful host I have had in a long bike journey all across Europe. I think his guesthouse is the best hotel in the entire continent. Efcharistó!
