Full marks and bravo to owners and staff of Aktaion hotel! Location was superb right on the waterfront of Ermoupolis many rooms enjoy unlimited sea views of bay and the hills above making it a postcard perfect location. This is a very historic aristocratic mansion kept in excellent condition a perfect blend of traditional style with modern facilities and comforts.
Professional staff very knowledgeable with spot on recommendations for sightseeing restaurants and more, truly every advise was with no doubt excellent!
Breakfast was very generous, very tasty large portions and great variety of choices.
Excellent location service and atmosphere will be back for sure!

Excellent stay right in front of a beautiful, more local beach. Breakfast was always outstanding. Room was comfortable, albeit nothing massive or fancy. Cleaned every day. Pool area was super relaxing. And staff was kind and helpful. Recommend.

The hotel was extremely clean, well maintained, peaceful and beautiful location. The breakfast was plentiful and had a variety of options to choose from. Lastly the property was located within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and cafes.

Also beware that if you go later in season, the mini market nearby might well be closed. Nearest shop after that is 1.5 miles away, but it is open on Sunday.

The best beach definitely was Kini beach but Vari and Delfini beaches (Great sunset} were very good as well/
Megas Yialos is a small village not far from the capital Hermoupolis where we ate most of our meals/
Hermoupolis is a lovely town with many things to see and buy.
