The host was quite nice, also the garden was lovely with many spots to hangout. There was a canoe that you could borrow and use which was super fun and an outdoor shower to wash off the salt water.

The villa was excellent, very nice and spacious. It has all facilities for a family holiday. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures.

We had also all the items to make a barbeque (even if we did not used them)

The apartment is brand new. It is very clean and comfortable. We had a super pleasant stay. The host is so welcome and very friendly. He gave us information about good taverns for food, excellent beaches and basic information about the island. The apartment is in the middle of the olive grove. In the apartment you can feel the wind from the ocean and from the mountains. We were sleeping like babies. I totally recommend.

This is my first stay in this hotel. Villa Iris is located in the best area of Scala Prinos and I want to share what impressed me most. First the hotel is located in front of an attractive beach area - least mosquitos, huge beach, lots of parking options. Second is that the hotel is pristine clean and the rooms have everything one needs even mosquito nets. This is logical but for some reason very rare on Tue island. The third are the owners - I have been coming to the island for 30 years, but I never met such so hospitable, kind, warm, welcoming people. It is so rare to find people with whom you can talk and communicate, verbalize your needs , but not only . I was greeted and invited very warmly and welcomed with a drink of my choice. Hence this fantastic warm family made a pleasant impression and made me feel very good from the start

Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place...
Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

Family hotel PROTEAS offer excellent Ratio of price and quality. First impression has been nice clean room with balcony toward pine wood. Room is equiped with net against Mosquitos so good sleep is ensured. Every day we enjoy breakfast seating in the yard in full shadows. Position of the hotel is such that you can reach sea in three different direction. West /150 m from sea. North/ 400m from sea/ and to the east /1km from sea. The friendly hotel owner allowed us to celebrate us birthday.

This house is NOT in Prinos. Actually, there are 4 Prinos's! The ferry docks at Skala Prinos. From there it's 2 km to Prinos village - OK, but nothing special. It's another 5 km uphill to Mikros Prinos and Megalos Prinos, where House Rhodia is located. Megalos Prinos is also called Kazaviti and Megalo Kazaviti. It is a traditional village of stone houses, now largely owned or rented by non-Greeks. However, the surroundings are fantastic, and Thasos Island as a whole is a wonderful place to relax. There are beaches everywhere, good food is easy to find, and various kinds of water sports are available.

Port is there with connection to Kavala's port. A small village with small shops on the port. However it offers almost everything to the visitor.
I strongly recommend Kostas Zorbas tavern (400m from Prinos's port), excellent sea food.

I visited the hotel for first time a year ago, but my second stay was even more wonderful. So many things changed for good. The beautiful garden made me feel like it was a miracle place. The touch to detail was felt everywhere. New shower and equipment, one of the most delicious breakfast I ever tasted, with local product and friendly people all around you.
The water placed in the room was great addition to the relaxing stay. For sure, my next stay will be much longer, in order to enjoy the comfort they offer.
A nice hotel with large green areas. The room is comfortable and every day it is cleaned and the towels are changed. The food is delicious and typically Greek. The beach is lovely with fine sand and the water is crystal clear with very few pebbles at the beginning. Thank you for the wonderful service and the compliment of a nice bottle of wine. We will definitely come back again! 🙂
We liked a lot our staying, Georgia is a great host, very helpful with information about events on Thassos, every comodities were satisfied and very eager to help. Appartments are clean and the garden is taken care of, it has oranges and pomegranates. Appartments are not far away from Natura Beach 2-3 minutes by car. We came as guest and leaved as friends.
