Amazing property over 3 floors! Lots of space, great rooms with balconies and great to have 3 bathrooms. All the doors and windows are high spec and the property has been designed really well. Incredible decent size deep pool. Great to have a BBQ and pizza oven and the table tennis table was a wonderful bonus. The location is perfect and in easy walking distance to loads of great restaurants, bakery and shops. Close enough to the beach with a quick drive and love that the property is high up for great views and sunrises. Couldn't fault the property and had a great week there having stayed in Skala the week before so could compare the two.

Quiet location which suits us. Owners were extremely helpful and approachable. Beautiful suite with own entrance, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Excellent daily maid service. Wonderful buffet breakfast each morning taken in the superb outdoor eating area. Great views from our room towards the island of Xante. Plenty of choice of good tavernas and plenty of choice of accommodation, some of it very up-market. Despite the building of more expensive properties, the resort maintains its essential charm as a fertile strip where all the island's vegetable were once grown. There are still vegetable gardens all along the strip. And if you turn around from the sea view, you're looking at a mountain ridge. It's an impressive backdrop.

Unspoiled and quiet but with sufficient restaurants and shops to make for easy access. A long sandy beach which is good for running and swimming. This is a place to chill out and relax. There are plenty of beaches to explore and there is a village up the hill. We will go back.

Lourdas beach is absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing and swimming. The sea is calm and warm and the beach is sand with some stones. You can also due a variety of activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking. The umbrellas and sun loungers can be rented and range from 8-15 euros for 2 sun loungers. There are many taverns that are really fairly priced. The supermarket is a little overpriced but the bakery is lovely. Lourdhata is very hilly, and also quite quiet. I would recommend hiring a car to see the island or at the very least book a driver (like I did) or some trips prior to coming.

Friendly, good food and the lovely staff at our fave tavernas remembered us with a warm welcome as we have visited 5 times in total.
Special mentions for Chefalonia and Aridas Palace. Excellent food and people.

This was our third visit to Kefalonia.
This was our third visit to Kefalonia. Lourdhata was a great location for us. Only 25 minutes drive from the airport and from the capital Argostoli. The local beach is pebble with beds and umbrellas for rent at a very reasonable price. Lots of good local restaurants and supermarkets. We really liked Chefalonia for a nice meal. Family run, excellent food and service. The Kefalonian people were all friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay in this area again.

Lourdata is a village on a hill, so there is not what you would call a village centre. Also, as it was October, alot of the tavernas were closing for the season, so a car was absolutely necessary to get to the tavernas up the hill from the beach and the Diana studios. I think in high season, we would have had a different experience here, but for us, peace and quiet was just what we needed, along with the sound of the sea, and the sea within a short walking distance. We also were fortunate to have summer weather, which locals said was unusual for the time of year.

This is one of several visits to this property going back quite a few years. We have always enjoyed our visits and it was the first place we checked for availability this time. It is centrally located in Lourdata with great views out to sea. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The cleaning lady does an amazing job. Our age and general lack of mobility makes it useful to have a hire car for visits to the local beaches or trips round the island.
The location was fabulous and the hotel built into the hillside maximised its use of space and the beauty of the landscape brilliantly. The range of exercise classes available and the extensive breakfast menu was icing on a very lovely cake.
Beautiful hotel , friendly and most helpful staff. Wou ld definitely recommend and will return next year. Had a fabulous holiday at this wonderful hotel. Didn't want to leave!
