Amazing location, secluded quiet beach within few minutes walking down from villa.
hard to get to, from the road by car and walking down (not for easily scared drivers or anyone with problems walking few steep steps), but if it was easy then the beach would be crowded and not as amazing. So I hope the owner manages to keep it just as it is---simple and perfect!
Also the owner is extremely nice, helpful and knows very well the area.
Overall, a huge positive surprise to find such a quiet beautiful spot in summer within short drive from Athens.

A wonderful location, though some of the residents might not be the sharpest. The area offers a plethora of delicious yet affordable food choices. The blend of mountains and sea gives this place a unique charm. Make sure to sample all dishes featuring eggplants.

Leonidio is a rock climbing place but it is also a lovely town. You need to go into the middle of the town to enjoy it, and it is not really near the sea. We prefered Poulithra which is just along the coast from Leonidio.

Leonidio is an attractive place for climbers and people who love the beach. It is also a great place for people who just look for a relaxing beautiful environment. The local people are VERY welcoming and warm. They will help you with anything you need. There are many options to walk in the area or take a short drive to the villages nearby. The smell of the orange and lemon trees is filling the air wherever you go. If you want to do some good you can volunteer to take stray dogs for a walk. The food is fresh and great and the cost is very reasonable. The narrow alleys are not easy to drive in but the local people have their way of dealing with that. They give a short honk at the beginning of each narrow road and the drivers are waiting for them to leave the alley so they can drive through it. This arrangement is so beautiful to see, they are so relaxed and kind to each other. The buildings are a mix of old and new but everything is SO CLEAN. There isn't a piece of paper on the ground. Make sure to have breakfast at the Kasseta bar and return later for a drink. Giannis is a the coolest kindest barman.
Check out the metal artist I missed. Loved Leonidio so much.....if you didn't get it by now :-)

Beautiful folklore small town where you can find everything from noisy cafes to complete isolation. Tasteful economic meals in Mouria Restaurant with traditional greek cuisine that we enjoyed a lot!!! Nice scenery, beautiful beach nearby, unique landscape. Driving to Leonidio is a bit hard after the town of Nauplio (around 80 kilometers) due to many curves but the result when arriving there makes it definitely worthwhile. Didn't spend enough time to be able to provide more details but the overall impression was very very good.

The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone we met were exceptional. The town has great fruit/veg shops, bakeries, butchers etc as well as two reasonably stocked supermarkets. The Rodomelo shop sold great local products and had a particularly friendly atmosphere. The Panjika Cooperative was particularly good for climbers with a modest equipment shop and a great cafe. As climbers interested in the lower end of the grade spectrum we found the local guidebook useful but rather undergraded, as pointed out in the Greece sport climbing guide.
Very nice hotel, with amazing views and great staff. The rooms are nice and modern design, quality. The breakfast was very nice and good. The staff was very kind and helpful, always asking if everything is ok.
Some suggestions: Maybe make it 18+, so no loud kids in the pool disturbing everyone that was thinking thishotel is for relaxation, not kids playground.
This was the best hotel during our 20 day trip in the Peloponnese
Very nice owner with family and very nice ladies at the breakfast
Good breakfast and comfortable rooms with beautiful sea vieuw
5 minutes walk to 3 restaurants and beach with all the facilities
10 minutes drive to plaka and lakos Beach and Leonidio
Tophotel.. Great location
The hotel is wonderful, not large but lovingly and charmingly furnished. The inner courtyard with terrace, pool and mountain view is a little oasis. Best service. Lena looks after the guests personally. Very attentive every second. Perfect!
Good rich breakfast. A place to relax.
This is a lovely hotel, right in the center of Leonidio. The staff were very welcoming and great. The breakfast was amazing. The whole property is beautiful. The room was a bit small. The bathroom really needs an update- very tired and not very clean, including the toilet.
This area is quiet and it is easy to walk to the shops, restaurants and cafes in Leonidio. The rock climbing is close also, but to do that you really need a car. The parking at the hotel was always available for our groups car.
