We have travelled a lot and this is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. If I could give it a rating of 11 or 12 I would. It was impeccably clean, spacious, well stocked kitchen, and attention was paid to all the small details (toiletries in the bathroom, welcome food and wine, games to play). The location was excellent to explore the 3 nearby beaches with a short walk, take a city bus into Chania, restaurants and groceries nearby…..but what really stands out is the generosity and kindness of Giorgos. He helped us with local advice, printing some documents, a ride into Chania to catch the bus and even a parting gift of some of his own olive oil. Thank you Giorgos!

Kato Daratso is a lovely beach location a couple of kilometers outside Chania centre which you can walk into along the beach in 15/20 minutes or take the bus which stops every 15 minutes at the top of the road and takes you in in 5 minutes for €1.20. The Theodosi restaurant is highly recommended. There are a number of supermarkets and pharmacies in the area. A peaceful location with beautiful beaches which is well worth a visit.

There is car rental and also travel agency as well, in case you want a book an excursion.
The beach is super sandy and there is surf/SUP rental. You can also find a very local cafe there (Sunset Café) where you can drink frappé, cocktails and eat salads.

Our experience at Yasmine Apartments was wonderful and unforgettable! The owner made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. The apartment was very clean and the nearby beach is beautiful and easy to get to! We really enjoyed our stay!

Four different but beautiful beaches, one next to the other. Clear water, white sand, fish, no big waves (actually none when I was there). All restaurants and shops in the main roads, but very quiet one block away from them.

Very easy access to (& back)old town Chania with regular bus no.21 (every 20 mns). The beach is not crowded as it is a very long stretch of 800meters. Very clean water and safe place to relax not having to worry about your belongings

Epas from the hotel contacted us 1 day ahead of arrival. He greeted us himself at arrival. He was very helpful with advice about restaurants and places to see.
Breakfast was excellent. Epas served breakfast himself everyday. Lots of choices.
One day we went to Samaria Gorge and was leaving early so Epas made us a breakfast package.
I have stayed at many hotels but this was both very personal and great service through our entire stay. Would definitely stay there again if we are going to Crete. Highly recommended
Perfect location for a relaxing time in Crete, yet close enough to the buzzing Chania old town (though not walking distance). The ground level suite was perfect for three of us, the bedroom was huge and the bed very comfortable and large! We can’t wait to come back to this property in future, hopefully on a regular basis. The restaurant is superb, reasonably priced and truly some of the best meals we had in Greece - we found ourselves dining here every day for lunch.
This place is AMAZING! We stayed here on our first ever visit to Chania and will 100% stay here again when we return to Crete. Fotini is a fantastic host (with some brilliant restaurant recommendations) and the location is perfect, only a short 30-minute walk along the lovely coastline to the old Venetian part of Chania. You HAVE to stay here!
