The staff was wonderful! I cannot complement them enough. The pool was very nice with lots of sun & shade. The snack bar was so convenient and the little market was also nice. Breakfast was fantastic - lots of variety. Our room was in the shade in the evening - great view of the harbor!

Good pedestrianized streets through the main shopping area make it easy to walk around and some excellent restaurants including Mama Maria's by the port made our evenings really special.
Boat trips from the harbour go to some of the best beaches like Apella and Kyra Panagia which you otherwise need a car to reach.

Pigadia town is ugly.
Pigadia town is ugly. There are other villages that are really nice but have become very tourist-oriented (Olympos village). Really nice beaches but some hard to reach by car (a few km off the main road with poor quality roads leading there). Anyway, there are so many other beaches that anyone can easily reach that it is ok. Decent food although a little pricey.

Extreme nature beauty, great sandy and rocky beaches (mixed), some of them organized and some not. Even the organized offered not organized spaces.
Not really good service at beaches and no carbage collectors to leave carbage when leaving the beach
Olympos is a fantastic village, a MUST for anyone visiting Karpathos. Arrange to have some time to scroll around

Great place to visit if you want to spend most of your day...
Great place to visit if you want to spend most of your day in spectacular beaches. If you are like me and are in need of other activities too, including archeological sites, museums, cultural events, etc. then the island has relatively little to offer. It is not however too crowded, which is an asset, as most places in the country have become over-touristic. You definitely need a car to explore properly.

Amazing Greece island with many beautiful beaches. Local food was also amazing and people were very nice wherever we went.
If you are visiting this island, you must see Olympus village. It does take around 1 hour of driving with car from Pigadia, but it's well worth the view. Talking with locals there we learned a lot of history about this island.

Great island with amazing beaches. Mountain part is so wild and feels like untouched from the crowds and tourism. All beaches had amazing waters. Many pretty small villages with views at the sea. Sunset from Olympos is stunning.

The owner Giota is a more than a lovely person. She made us feel comfortable all the time. She prepared a huge meal for us when we arrived, gave us a lot of recommendations about Karpathos and Pigadia, and gave us delightful presents when we leaved. The apartment, clean and with a fantastic terrace, was close to everything in Pigadia though being in a very quiet location. We will come again for sure!
The hotel has an excellent location in Pigadia, only two minutes walking from the beach. There is also a big market conveniently located next to the hotel.
The facilities were always spotless, and the room was huge and even had a small kitchen. But the star of the hotel is the couple that runs it - they are so lovely and helpful! Will definitely stay there again when going back to Karpathos
The location of the appartment is excelent. It is only a 2 min drive to Pigadia, situated in a quiet place with an amazing view.
We received a very warmly welcome by the host who made our vacation an unforgettable experience. Michalis and Manolis thank you so much for everything!!! We will never forget you!!! I highly recommend Karpathos City View for your vacation in Karpathos.
Beautiful view for the sea and the mountains. Every morning we could watch the sunrise on the sea from the terrace. Villa is very comfortable. Close to the beautiful beaches Kyra Panagia and Apella. Close to the nice restaurants with good food. The owners of the house are very kind and helpful. We had great holidays here.
