It truly is a family resort - it was so easy to relax when they have everything you need - kid-friendly food, high chairs, shade options, kid pools, blackout blinds, soundproofed room, playgrounds, activities - it was great!!
Great coffee machines! Beautiful view from our room. Food was delicious and the buffet patio overlooking the sea was wonderful.

The hotel was in a PERFECT location!! Super close to a lot of shops and bakeries (I recommend coffee gram, it was super affordable and only a ~5min walk from the hotel). The beach was literally a 30 second walk from our room. The staff were attentive and caring and always available for any questions we had. The room was spacious, clean, and easy to check in and out of. Can’t recommend this place enough!! I wish we had stayed longer!

The room was very nice and looked just like in the pictures with small and intricate sea crafts pieces. Dimitra was great and super helpful. Even though our stay was short we had a very nice time in Kalyves. If you are an early riser you can get an amazing view of the sunrise just across the street from the Villa.

Very nice and clean family run hotel. Excellent little café in front (hotel guests get a 15% discount). We had our dog with us, and we greatly appreciated a pet-friendly apartment that was very well maintained.

We really enjoyed the kids' club activities. The evening entertainment was also very good. Additionally, I felt that the food choices, especially for lunch and dinner, were excellent and catered to different tastes.
I was disappointed to find that the air conditioning did not work in several rooms, and the staff were fully aware of this issue. We had to change our room but ultimately had to settle for a normal fan. This hotel is rated as a 5-star hotel, but I feel it does not meet that standard.
Additionally, the restaurant area was problematic. The fridge with ice cream was very dirty, as were the pots with granola.
Despite having issues with the air conditioning and cleanliness in the restaurant area, we enjoyed our stay at Kiani Beach Resort. The pools are excellent, and the proximity to the beach is amazing. However, I believe this hotel should be awarded only a 3 to 4-star rating.

We stayed here for 10 days with one other family . It was amazing !! We are had our own rooms with own bathrooms . We had clean and safe space . The host was great and got back to us with any questions we had . All appliances worked great . Restaurants near by were great to walk to .

Perfect Cretan working village by the sea.Great beaches.Plenty good tevernas,kanefeons and bars with very reasonable prices.Supermarket,mini markets and shops Local butchers,bakers,fruit and veg shops with fresh local produce.Good base fortrips to other places including archeological and historical sites.Car hire and ATMs in abundance.It's about 30 - 40 minutes depending on your mode of transport from Chania airport and about 25 minutes from Souda ferry terminal.Highly recommended.

The rooms have no noise cancellation from the outside world.
The humidity is high and they look different than the picstures in booking.
They are probably 3-4 star bungalows not hotel rooms.

The hotel was lovely with very good all inclusive. The TV dosen't show English channels except for BBC News. Right on the beach with the hotel providing free sun beds & unbrellas. The sea was very cold & the beach very course. Not much in the village. You will need a car to get around or a taxi.

The apartman is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a studio with 34 nm, it was great for 2 of us. Everything was very clean, the beds were great. Next to the apatmant you can find a bus stop to Chania, but it goes only 4-5 times / day. So it is not like in other places, every 20-30 minutes. If you would like to visit Chania or Rethimno it is better to rent a car. There are a some great tavernas in the village. The beaches are belonging to bars, and the sunbeds and umbrellas are free.
Nicely located hotel with own beach and next to river. Only 20 minutes away from Chania. Very helpful staff at the hotel always ready to help especially nice Ladies at the reception desk and restaurant. Hope to come back in the future. Aha, very good food for lunch and supper. We had a wonderful stay in this well-equipped holiday apartment in Kalyves. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach. Stefano, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this apartment to others! Everything was perfect.
We stayed for a week at Kiani Beach resort and it is an excellent choice for families with children. It is an all inclusive resort and resort offers great activities for kids .our kids enjoyed it very much ! Hotel management is very attentive to guests. Staff are also very friendly .
