We love the city and go there 2 or 3 times a year as is close to Albania. the city atmosphere is excellent with the beautiful lake waterfront and lovely tavernas. It is very convenient also for shopping. There are also beautiful sightseeing spots like the Perama Caves and the Dodoni Amphitheater. Definitely recommend.

The apartment was quite large with 2 bedrooms and a substantial common area It was clean and had two balconies. It was in a quiet area that was easy to find but not that far from the main road into Ioannina. The location requires a vehicle or some other transport to get into the center (5-10 minute drive) which we had. Overall we were very satisfied with the rental and the host was friendly and attentive. We used it as a base for exploring Ioannina and the northern Epirus region.
This is truly a 5 star hotel in a peaceful location. We stayed in a lake view suite, and everything from the welcome wine and fruits, to the environmentally friendly and the ultra helpful staff makes this place a real hidden gem in Greece. Day trips by car to the Vikos Gorge, Papingo pools and Zagori villages can be done and the staff put me in contact with the adventure companies even prior to our arrival.
This is a nice and friendly family-run guesthouse in the quiet suburb village of Perama; if you have a car, it is close to the city center of Ioannina with easy access to the motorways and several grocery shops, coffee places, eateries etc. It is perfect if you wish to drive around and explore all the surroundings. Ioannina is a beautiful, very cosmopolitan and historical city to visit.
