The hotel was great and the staff was incredibly nice! We got a very good and solid room for the price that we paid (sea view even though we didn't pay for that).
The food was excellent, there were many choices to choose from, the drinks on all inclusive were decent!
The beach was beautiful and had an amazing view of the sunset, the water was warm and we enjoyed it. The pool was also warm and clean!
There was a great animation team, every hour there was something exciting and fun to do, the evening's that they hosted were unbelievable and the animation team had a lot of energy till the end of the day and still were up for anything!
I would like to give a special thanks to Felix ( the leader of the animation team ) for giving a shoutout to my daughter because it was her birthday and he really made that night special for her!

We stayed in one of the ground floor premium rooms, close to the beach. We loved the pool areas! The adults pool is quite luxurious. The pool restaurant was good too. Beach is stony so you need swimshoes. (can be bought in supermarket across the street)
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. :)

The staff were fantastic throughout the hotel, in particular the at the main pool bar, where both bartenders work very hard all day, yet keep on smiling, joking, and ensuring that their guests have a wonderful time - BRAVO to the duo !! :). The beach is not that great.
If you have a rental car for your Rhodes stay it is OK as a base, and hotel/apartment rates are generally pretty good.

Ialyssos is a beach resort, very relaxed and easy-going, but...
Ialyssos is a beach resort, very relaxed and easy-going, but there are regular buses into Rhodes town which is a fantastic bustling town, full of history and with a great port and marina, where you can book boat tours or just sit and watch. You can also walk up the hill behind the town, Filerimos, which has the remains of an old temple and a mediaeval monastery as well as a giant cross put up by the Italians - the views are amazing, but the walk is a slog on a hot day!

There are many shops and restaurants in Ialyssos with good beaches that had a beautiful panorama view of the sea. There are both super markets as well as souvenir shops and good bakeries in Ialyssos.
There is also an excellent Grigoris (Greek coffee chain) in Ialyssos, where you can enjoy a delicious greek coffee.

Huge rooms which were spotless, with excellent AC and balcony space. Excellent breakfast, great value for money. My sister and I would highly recommend Ialysos City Hotel to anyone travelling to Rhodes. Look forward to returning again next year :) 👏
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was well-equipped and the Wi-Fi connection worked well. As we arrived late in the evening, the hotel was perfect for spending our first night on the island, before continuing our trip to the southern part of Rhodes.
Pool and air con, dont be put off by the entrance foyer, when you get into the hotel it is like a little oasis, the pools are excellent and the gardens and bar area are superb, short walk to the beach and the town with loads of restaurants within 10 mins walk
