Hotel is on the hill. So the way from the centre up to the hill will take some minutes. Nothing for persons who have problems with walking. You dont want to walk up to the hill more than 2 times a day.
Hotel is mostly for tourist from travel agency, who has all inclusive. I dont think if is worth for it.
Agios Nikitas is very small. There is only one main street through the village. There is a lot of restaurants ant shops.
Hotel has a lot of parking space under the tree, it was for free. We arrive earlier - before 12, they dont have prepair our room, so receptionist was very kind so we got upgrade room upstairs with seaview.
Room was bigger and clean, bathroom with toiletries, small fridge, safe box.
Big swimming pool, there were many people. Lot of sunbeds, there is a bar - we tried mojito, barman didnt know how to do it, he needed internet. Mojito had chemical green color and was awful - 8e/piece.
Breakfast was disappointment. Scrambled eggs, sausages, fried eggs, 2 types of ham, 1 cheese, feta cheese, tomatoes, some sweets, pickled fruit, greek yoghurt - not good, juice, coffee from machine. You can have breakfast on the terrace with sea view

Before our vacation on Lefkada, we were deciding between two accommodations and I am incredibly glad that we chose Zephyros. Kostas and his family were always very kind and helpful to us! They gave us advice on where to eat, when and where it was likely to rain (their predictions were more accurate than the weather forecasts on the internet :D) and when we needed something, they never had a problem helping us. Every morning the host waited for us with the table already set, he made us coffee and breakfast, which became our beautiful ritual. We were in Lefkada for 11 days and the whole time we had a very clean room and the beautiful sunsets were priceless. The location of the accommodation is also great, as the most beautiful beaches are within a 20-minute drive.
We would definitely love to come back! ♥ I wish there were more wonderful people like this family in the world.

We stayed at the lovely Vicky's place for just two days. The room was equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Everything here is made with a lot of love and it shows in every detail. The clean fresh and cool air, the peace and quiet recharged us The location is also great. It is close to the most famous beaches, and 5 minutes from the house there is a great bar and restaurant, where we met the sunsets.
I strongly recommend ! This place is Love!

Exantheia is the picturesque original Greek village located...
Exantheia is the picturesque original Greek village located at 550 meters above sea level. If it was 33°C by the sea on the beach, it was more than 7°C lower in the Exanthia. There is a beautiful view of the sea from almost every place in Exatheia. You will find typical Greek buildings inhabited by older Greeks. There are several restaurants in the village - I recommend Vasilikos Tavern and also the stylish restaurant with bar Rachi / Fly me. I also recommend the restaurant and cafe "Στο Καφενειο", which may not seem very luxurious, but they made excellent Frapé and were always full of Greeks

The view from the apartment balcony is magnificent, no wonder why they call it Exanthia Sunset.
The apartment was very very clean and equiped very well.
The host put an effort to small details to make your stay comfortable, cozy, relaxed.
The only thing I didn't like is the distance to Kathisma beach, the Booking info said 2.5km and in reality it was 13km. But, since it is my favorite beach, I didn't mind that much.

The best place to stay on the island in my opinion.
The best place to stay on the island in my opinion. Its a beautiful small village with very friendly people and a great selection of restaurants.
The village is relaxed and away from the big crowds with absolutely stunning views over the ionian sea. Up in the hills but still perfectly located in the center of the island so all the beautiful beaches and go to spots are only a short drive away.
It also has very great restaurant and bar choices. Dont just go to the popular ones like Rachi and FlyMe. They are for sure amazing but also the other Tavernas like Vasilikos and Kafeneio offer high quality authentic food and super friendly service.
Exanthia is well worth the visit and i would definitely recommend this village as the place to stay during a trip to the island. But, you do need a car here!
