Simos was the outstanding place but Nisi is also beautiful.
Harbour side tavernas and a small church across a causeway complete this idealistic gem.

A really good weekend escape.
A really good weekend escape. Although far from Athens worth the visit. Selected period is quiet and not crowded. Polite and friendly people , nice restaurants and tasteful dishes . Stunning beaches and emerald waters will keep you there for hours .

We were lot of greek place, island. There is the most beautiful small island. There are the best beaches, lighting blue sea, cristal clear water, waterworld, fishes, white sand beaches. One word: amazing. We had been two times, and I think we will go back next year.

The place is so incredible and I am empty for words: a real hidden gem off the beater track. The most beautiful beach I’ve seen in my life ever was Paralia Simos: so picturesque and I fell in love with it’s turquoise waters, almost like a color of Powerade. No crowds of tourists and rather Greeks coking there. As a result prices are more reasonable than in other more touristy places. I rented a bike on battery and every single point on the island became accessible within 15 minutes. Recommended to everyone who would like to discover and almost undiscovered place in Greece.

Favorite place was definitely Simos beach in the morning, it's just a paradise.
Great choice of tavernas by the port, very lively in the evenings.
You need a car to explore the island, or a bike if you can tolerate the heat in the high season.
Elafonisos is absolutely worth visitig!

You can hire bicycles to get around
to other beaches as there are no taxis (not sure about a bus, didn’t see one) The camping ground is amazing, amenities super clean
you can even rent rooms not just tents and not expensive at all.
Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from
The hotel is located in a wonderful place, it's a stone throw from the best beach of Elafonissos; in the eveninig you enjoy a magic view of the sunset on sea from the terrace of the hotel.But the real added value of this vacation is the owner of the hotel, Vassilis. He's a Grecian American guy who lives in Brooklyn and when talks of his life in America, it's like you are immersed in a Martin Scorsese movie, populated by Italian, Grecian, Cuban characters.Great Vassilis! Sadly, people like you are increasingly rare.
The rooms are bright white modern rooms that reflect greatly when the sun is out. The bathrooms are not meant for either tall or rather clumsy people, as the shower cabin is really small. This is however, something you encounter often in this part of Greece. Super clean and spacious, this room includes a small fridge, a TV, air-conditioning parking facilities and a lovely big teras.
A very positive stay right next to the main street and the harbour of the island. Would highly recommend them!
Anett Studios is the perfect place where to stay in Elafonissos. Anett and her family are really kind and ready to help you for anything. Well located, with a privated parking too, it offers different rooms with balcony, private bathroom, a small kitchen, A/C. in just 3 minutes by walk you can reach the main road where to find all you need (restaurants, cafes, supermarkets), while in just 5 minutes by motorbike there are the main beaches of the island; of course the best one is Simos!
The Location was central and near the port. The staff was magnificent and the apartments real great with all amenities needed. To make this place of higher Niveau a pool and a parking lot close to it would be the needed additions. The owner is a really nice guy and really helpful. From the looks of it this apartment hotel was the best choice. No other place seemed appealing except maybe a hotel at Simos Beach. Will visit again if we go to Lakonia. Greetings from Germany
I loved how friendly and helpful Mr.Argiro was. The tasty breakfast is an absolute must! The homemade jams and cakes were delicious and I looked forward to them everyday : ) The room is spotless and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The Simos beach is only a few minutes away by car. The bed is extremely comfortable and I would recommend for everyone to stay here. Can't praise Domatia me Thea and the staff enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay
The location of this hotel is superb. All the amazing beaches are in short distances (simos beings 16 mins away). The rooms were very clean and always taken care of by the time we got back to the hotel. Followed all COVID safety guidelines. The views are also beautiful! We had a great view from our balcony and from the top floor of the hotel that serves as a bar. Would definitely recommend for a beautiful comfortable stay in Elafonisos.
Lisa is a great host, very kind and helpful. Free umbrellas for the beach. Very close to restaurants and bakery, you can go out at night without the car, just walking ten minutes. The room was clean, air conditioning, and small breakfast included. Beautiful view from the balcony. We will definitely stay here again in our next trip to elafonisos. Highly recommend.
Very good location! Exceptional people and very good attitude, very clean and tidy, close to all the famous beaches (Small and big Simos), less than 10 minutes from the ferry dy a car, walking distance from the Panagia beach, perfect view from the room. Perfect vacation place!!!
Everything was great at this hotel.. amazing staff that is friendly and makes customers feel welcome. The breakfast was very nice and they observed all safety protocols. Location is between Simos beach and downtown so it is very convenient.
We loved the breakfast, the pool, the room was very quiet. The hotel is a very short walk to Simos beach, which was perfect! Upon returning to the hotel, there is an outdoor shower on the property which was very convenient!
If I could give 12 stars I would. The hotel is like a gem a few meters away from the best beach I have ever seen. Amazing facilities, great breakfast, excellent staff and the owners are very friendly and personable.
Super nice staff on the hotel, the housekeeping was on point, the room was really clean and smelled like heaven, and the pool was overall clean. Would like to see a few umbrellas at the pool.
