This was our second stay in Calypso and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The rooms are very spacious, it is super clean and the host Jovana made us feel totally welcome - answering and question we had and attending to any request we addressed to her. The hotel also has good parking s and is 5 mins walking distance to every restaurant in the village. We very much recommend the place. Big thanks, Jovana!

Kalomoira, the owner was lovely. The room was spacious with everything you could possible need for a great stay. The apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable and perfectly located on the edge of town for local restaurants and Simon and Panagia beaches.

Small, but beautiful island with a nice people around! Wonderful beaches, especially Simos and Kato Nissi have the clearest water with the best colour you can ever see in your life! We have been so positively surprised. The best place to stay is Coralli rooms and restaurant available to book from booking! :) We have been there in the begging of October which is a little bit out of season, many things can be closed, but Coralli were the place to be and the beaches are not crowdy, just a few people.

5 hours away from Athens airport. You can reach the island with a 10-minute ferry ride from the mainland. Car price for the ferry is 10€. 3 € per person. Forget all the beaches you've ever seen. Simos Beach is heaven on earth. You will think you are in a postcard, around the church, in the narrow streets and in all the areas in the island centre. A quiet island. There are also great restaurants and bakeries.

Simos was the outstanding place but Nisi is also beautiful.
Harbour side tavernas and a small church across a causeway complete this idealistic gem.

A really good weekend escape.
A really good weekend escape. Although far from Athens worth the visit. Selected period is quiet and not crowded. Polite and friendly people , nice restaurants and tasteful dishes . Stunning beaches and emerald waters will keep you there for hours .

We were lot of greek place, island. There is the most beautiful small island. There are the best beaches, lighting blue sea, cristal clear water, waterworld, fishes, white sand beaches. One word: amazing. We had been two times, and I think we will go back next year.

Our stay was perfect. The rooms, with lovely balconies, overlook the sea, and the breakfast room is light and airy with the same open sea view. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and a variety of fresh baked cakes as well as yoghurt, fruit, cheese pastries, eggs etc. The staff were cheerful, kind and helpful.
We loved Simos beach, which had the most amazing crystal clear water and soft sand; and the harbour town to promenade in the evening where you can pick a taverna for dinner on the seafront.
The rooms are bright white modern rooms that reflect greatly when the sun is out. The bathrooms are not meant for either tall or rather clumsy people, as the shower cabin is really small. This is however, something you encounter often in this part of Greece. Super clean and spacious, this room includes a small fridge, a TV, air-conditioning parking facilities and a lovely big teras.
A very positive stay right next to the main street and the harbour of the island. Would highly recommend them!
Very convenient location, 5 minutes walk from the street with restaurants and the city beach. A big advantage is the parking lot and the parking spaces around the building. The studio is equipped with stoves and a refrigerator. Towels are changed and cleaned every day. The beaches of the island are wonderful and accessible from the hotel by car or bus. The hosts are very kind and ready to help with travel and visiting tips. We will visit again if we are in Elafonisos.
We loved our stay at Studios Maniati- it’s in a great location above the town with great views over to the mainland and for the Peloponnese sunsets. The apartment was spotless, the bed really comfortable - which is a massive win for me. Finally Alexandra is fabulous, really friendly and on hand to ensure you have a great stay.
