We loved our stay at Nostos. Great location, right on top of the beach in a small resort town. Room decor was beautiful, and was a good size. Balcony overlooked the pool and sea. 2 swimming pools, both well maintained and beds usually available. Would recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

* Room was spacious and mostly tidy. Aside that, it would use maintenance, walls were dirty, sink was cracked and as glass shower doors were making loud cracking noises. Moreover, I cannot understand the idea of having a toilet right next to the bed, also only separated by glass.
* Location has some advantages and some disadvantages. On plus side there is a nice view. On the other hand, 20 minutes walk downhill to the sea (probably twice that uphill coming back as it's quite steep), a lot of goats nearby and a nearby hotel boosting music so loudly you can hear it clearly.

Our room was in the village area, top of the stairs and it was really nice that this place also had a pool. We had all inclusive and the pool bar had drinks (soft drinks, coffee, beer, wine, liquors) and snacks (sandwiches and cakes). We liked the food, we always found something good to eat, especially the vegetables and the fruits were our favourites. The staff is very nice. The location is amazing, we had a beach at the hotel, but we also visited the beaches all around, everything is very close. For this money, it absulotely worth it.

I would say, all was perfect, 100% what I was looking for, comfy beds, pool view as was requested, spacious comfy room, furnitures on the balcony and almost a private swimming pool, there wasn't many people 2-5 of October, no noise around, couple of minutes walk to restauranta or beaches, perfect place for 3 days stay.
Because of the stomach issues didn't try the breakfast which is a pity, I'll try next time and review.

Bali is a nice place in general - big enough to offer variety of good restaurants, sandy beaches with minimal waves, water sports and other activities (quad tours, day trips); small enough not to feel like in a big city.
Recommended places for food:
Caldera Seaside for good restaurant food;
Bali Bakery for coffee and pies;
Sweet Station for frozen yogurt and smoothies.

Great place for young families.
Great place for young families. Bali beach itself is a fun little beach, sandy, nice water, shallow entrance, also seemingly protected on windy days. Shops, places to eat etc., are very close. Also plenty of options for boat rides, water sports etc. One of several beaches all close by, each with their own character.

A really brilliant location.
A really brilliant location. Just 45 mins from airport so far enough away that you don’t ever see planes but also not too far.
Massive variety… 6 local beaches and bays to choose from that are all walkable or there is a little train that you can take.
Loads of water sports if that’s your thing. Also lots of choice for food and drink. Very reasonably priced too.
Crete has got to be the friendliest greek island that we have visited.
In summary… lots to do and see (great location for days out). Easy to hire a car which we did to go to the amazing Waterpark called WaterCity about 55 mins away.

One of the nicest parts of Crete, Balíon, is, indeed, very similar to the Indonesian Bali. There are 4 great lagoons here with phenomenal beaches. I recommend visiting all of them because in each one you will find something special for you.

All set around a small busy but friendly and clean sandy beach.
Theres are other larger beaches nearby if you prefer, but this suited us.
Panorama restaurant was exceptional for great food, service, atmosphere and food. Recommended!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The property is new and spotlessly clean, which made a great first impression. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the breakfast—everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The pool area was also beautiful, perfect for relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, modern place with excellent service, a great breakfast, and a stunning pool area.
Very good location, 3 minutes walk to Bali beach, 5 minutes walk to Karavastasi beach, 5 minutes walk to supermarket. Nice apartments equipped with modern furniture. Cleaning of the apartment every 3 days. Good attitude of hosts, who were ready help and to give advices. Fantastic Karavastasi beach with clean blue water, fishes, caves. It would be better to have swimming shoes due to stones under water at some places as well as sea urchins. We enjoyed our holidays at Villa Vasilis
Good location, a couple of minutes to the beach, restaurants. It ia also very close to one of the stations of the "small train" that you can use to move around Bali. There is a private parking. Rooms are very clean, cleaning service is provided every day and the upper levels have a golf view from the balcony. The owners are nice and attentive to guests needs.
Authentic family hotel and taverna, at a human size (only 14 rooms), calm and lovely ! A real Cretan experience with a Great local staff ! At the entrance of Bali, close of the long beach and the bars and other restaurants if that s your thing, and 25min walking to the old small port of Bali, with shops all along the way..
The location of the hotel is great, loved the bar belonging to it, Maria and her husband are extremely nice. We were lucky to have double bed in our room, and it was very comfy, breakfast we're also good and generous.
