The kindness and willing to help of the staff was very nice, the hotel was very clean, the view from room and pool was beautiful, the room was as expected small and no luxury but very sufficient, a ceiling fan could have been a + the huge balcony was very nice the location of the hotel. Hotel was full but very quiet. Be aware hotel have a lots of steps to go upstairs no elevator :-)

Bottom line: Much more than expected - excellent!
Usually when I’m booking a place, even with good exam of the details offered, I’m downgrading it in 20%…BUT NOT IN THIS CASE. Stella is a huge surprise. Not because it is some super luxurious place (in some measures it’s getting close) but because it is new, clean, beautiful, comfortable, homie, great view (I’ve been told I’ll get “the Mountain View” but it was both mountain and sea) the staff: Paris and the young lady (sorry for not remembering her name) and the household staff.
In my point of view this was the best value for money and even more. Love the design love the attitude, loved everything.

A charming and bustling little town with plenty of restaurants for choice and lots of shops. Some are selling the usual tourist merchandise, but there are a few quality independent shops.
We were struck by the friendliness of staff in restaurants and shops.
There are boat trips starting from the harbour and the place is well situated to explore beaches and the mountainous 'hinterland'.

It's a small kind of posh place with cute beaches.
It's a small kind of posh place with cute beaches. The main character of the place are the surrounding mountains and vast sea. There are a lot of restaurants, but everywhere is peaceful and the music isn't loud. We stayed in the more quiet area, after you pass the harbour and walk through the whole beach, then up in the mountains. The whole walk from our hotel to the Agia Galini's centre was less than 20 minutes.
We are mostly in the Tropica restaurant which is the most beautiful one. Right after the bridge, when you cross the canal. The owner was funny and polite, the food was great and the atmosphere with the sea view was so charming. All other places were fine too.
There is no fast food in Agia Galini, so prepare yourselves to eating in restaurants or book meals where you stay.

Great place we went out of season but there was still enough...
Great place we went out of season but there was still enough bars and tavernas open, but many more to open and they looked good also. We also had two dogs with us and we and them were welcome everywhere. Could not fault the friendly people and the hospitality we had at our hotel and bars and tavernas was first rate. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely fishermen’s town with great tavernas and bars/cafes. Chilled and relaxing atmosphere. Very nice beach, again with good tavernas serving delicious Greek and international food. Walking distance between town, beach and hotels. Hidden gem for me.

It is in strategic position, central to reach beautyful beaches on the east and on the west of the village within 30 min-1 hour by car. It is also a small pictoresque and typical greekvillage with a small harbour, full of shop, markets, restaurants and services, but very quiet as well

A very nice village by the sea. Lots of options for eating out including tavernas at the next beach to the east. Ferry service from the harbour and tour boats for fishing a sightseeing. One of our favourite locations on Crete.

the location is very good, within walking distance to the local beach and restaurants, The hotel has such a lovely feel to it! really lovely design and details in the room and around the hotel. we stayed in the room with the balcony over looking the sea. the view is so beautiful and lovely to wake up to! brilliant breakfast, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, granola, fruit, cake, orange juice fresh coffee! wonderful staff! so friendly and welcoming! a truly wonderful breakaway! really recommend it!

The apartment was not so big but with everything needed and very nice. We found raki, water and little presents at the arrival. Is very close to Agia Galini center and to the beaches. No hard to find a place where to park.
