Accommodation was as advertised - very good for the price and in a great location in Ammoudia. Anna, the host, is exceptionally welcoming and friendly. She made us tea when we arrived and the breakfast (additional service) was top notch, very authentic and homemade. She was also very bike friendly (we are cycle tourists!).

Our hosts met us to give us the door code to our upgraded apartment, which we appreciated. They were helpful and attentive, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home, introducing us to friends and local restaurants. Because of the time of year we were the only guests at the property, giving us a high degree of privacy, which we were happy with. The location was a good base for our travels, with ancient historical sites within striking distance, and local beaches are delightful. Heidi's lemon marmalade is excellent.

Froso welcomed us very friendly. She explained everything. Very nice hotel directly at the beach, with parking place. We stayed for 14 days in Vrachos. The room was very clean, it was cleaned every day. We went to different restaurants in the area at night. With Greek cuisine, very tasty. We made some excursions: Kayaking on the river Acheron, dolphin watching tour, Nikopolus. We drove to some villages around and visited Preveza and Parga. Very nice vacation. Thank you.

Spacious rooms, very helpful staff, pleasant pool area. Had everything we needed for a brief 2 night stay. 20 minute walk to the centre of Parga but all uphill so taxi back is a good plan.

Nice little town or more so village with all the basics you need to make it a great tourist location. Wide open areas and good accomodations. Few very good reastaurants and a long sandy beach with very shallow water, just wright for quiet family vacation.
Not so many facilities in town so you are limited to a quiet or sporty vacation.

Beautiful clean beach, sea was perfect for the kids. Plenty of sun beds for hire - at a really reasonable price, we paid €5 a day for 2 beds an umberella and 2 beers!
A good choice of restaurants to choose from offering traditional Greek food and lots of fresh seafood.
If you are looking for a holiday where you go to the beach during the day and then out for a nice meal on an evening then this is the place, but if you want somewhere with lots of bars and more livelier nightlife then you would be better in another resort. The resort was perfect for us.

Ammoudia is a fantastic secret that lies hidden on Greece's northwest coast. Not overly glitzy like other places and small enough for a comfortable feel it is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the sun, and eat some delicious Greek food.
The garden and surrounding wettlands view was even better than we expected.
The location is perfect for exploring the Ioanian coastline and the Acheron river, there is also a very nice beach in Ammoudia which is 5 minutes away - perfect for late afternoon.
We liked the cleanliness and comfortability of the rooms, but most of all - Giota and everyone in Villa Ikaros were so friendly and hospitable, provided us very good advice about the sights and were always ready to answer any questions we had.
Small, family hotel. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We felt really welcome. The room is sufficient and clean. Kitchen corner with basic dishes, electric stove, bed side lamps, nets in the windows, nice balcony. Cleaning service like in 4* hotel. Clean towels and room service every day. Beach within 100m on foot.
