Ada, our host was very welcoming, she made us feel right at home. The property was in a beautiful location, the views from our balcony were spectacular and quiet apart from Irma the dog, when she was disturbed, which was not often.

We enjoyed the wonderful friendly hospitality given to us by Mr. Takis and his family. Our room was very clean & comfortable with a balcony to enjoy the stunning sea view. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Philoxenia was the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. Strongly suggest to hire a car to explore other areas of Corfu.

We arrived late at night the staff couldn't do more to accommodate us he ordered pizza delivery for us and got it delivered to our room.. Pool was beautiful and exceptionally clean we were there for just one night on a stop over.. It was perfect

Highly recommend this property. The hotel was comfortable and very nice. The breakfast was 10/10, with a plenty of options. They always came to clean the room, and they always restocked our towels and toiletries. You can request towels for the beach. The swimming pool was great!

- everyone working there!. Sophia who was so attentive to making sure I had a great stay, helping me book various places, making sure I didn’t lack of anything. The team at the restaurant, super kind and smiley from first thing in the morning until close. Everyone helping out.
- location : very convenient south from old corfu town. It can get very hot during the day, so going sightseeing later in the day and bring able to do that multiple times is great. Being 20min drive away allows you the flexibility. By the beach with a private beach / sun bed + shade , with a lot of privacy. Very convenient to driving south + west too.
- food: breakfast had a great diverse set of choice. Including healthy choice. Very good coffee. Diner was probably the best meals I’ve had in Corfu (even going to very nice restaurants).
- room was great: functional, comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely view on the sea. Water bottles available anytime which I think is great and responsible given the heat. A/C was working great :well adjusted / not loud.
I didn’t get to use the gym as I was out and about.
The price for stay is low. The big water park is included in price- it is so interesting. The meals are delicious. The small resort village is so nice- even nice to take a walk. There are entertainers who work all day long. The port and airport is close.

The apt is located in the middle of the island. The location is really convenient to explore the island by car. At night, the apt is super quiet, cold, and comfy. The host is so kind and available for anything and she (and her dad) tries to do her best to make their guest have a perfect stay. Thank you so much!

It was a nice little country get away from the busy busy...
It was a nice little country get away from the busy busy city of Old Corfu, we loved it except we had to keep arranging taxis which became pricey with our big group. I would suggest it as a getaway for someone who has their own car or just to be aware that it's a little away. There was some nice options for food delivery to the hotel and corfu town is about 20 minutes if my memory serves me :D

I chose this location as I've visited friends in the area...
I chose this location as I've visited friends in the area before. The hotel is a beautiful Venetian-style mansion built in 1824 that has been used as a youth hostel and hotel for many years. It's re-opened this year under new management and deserves to succeed. The setting is a village square and if you walk across the square you'll find Anna, the 4th generation of her family running a restaurant for locals and visitors. It's quaint and colourful and full of people happy to chat.

Not much going on in Agios Ioannina but easy enough to get a...
Not much going on in Agios Ioannina but easy enough to get a taxi or bus into Corfu Town. Not at all touristy, which is nice, but still close to the Town, airport and beach villages like Pelekas. Bus is easy enough to catch from the main road and taxi cost around €10 from Town.
