The location is perfect, very close to the beach (50m) and tavernas,free parking under big trees. The village is very cosy and not so full of tourists, there is a large variety of beaches there and nearby : with rocks, pebble, sand, sunbeds, beach bars or wild beaches...for all tastes.

Archontiko Soulitioti is a wonderful country inn in the village from which my wife's grandmother left for America over 100 years ago. The innkeepers were wonderful, the gentleman even stopped in the taverna where we were eating dinner to ask if we were ok, and telling us that he was going to the next village, but would be back soon in the event we needed anything. The lady was very friendly. The rooms are simple and rustic, but tastefully appointed. The bed was comfortable. The entire building was spotless, and in perfect repair, despite being 200 years old. The breakfast was delicious. The view from our balcony was great, and made us feel as if we were truly in another time. The village is very charming, but drivers should be prepared for very narrow streets.

If you are enjoying your pension and you can still drive a car, or you have old parents that might keep an eye on your kid for the summer, than this might be the place for you. Tourism is on a low level in general. Paradies is the best place to eat in the area with great prices, but you must drive almost everywhere from Golden Beach Hotel and the area.
