The apartment was lovely and had some nice touches. The staff were there to greet us and brought welcome cocktails. We had use of the pool to ourselves.

The only positive point about Port-Louis is the beach which had some pretty neat snorkeling, right by the shore line and surprisingly beautiful knowing that people can just walk on it. Water is flat, so once you have snorkeled for a few hours, you have seen and done every thing that there is to see and do.
No real grocery store, few boulangerie, lots and lots of no-see-ums eating you live (in the city, at the beach, inside the apartment).
Nothing else to do or see than the small beach of Port-Louis, and 4 nights was too long!
