I loved everything about the property. I wish I could have stayed longer. The apartment was very very clean. Was modern and I felt very safe. The apartment and host exceeded my expectations. When I come back to Guadeloupe , that’s the only place I will be staying.

It’s okay when you arrive after a long flight and need to get to acclimatize and recover after a long journey. Questions and requests are responded to quickly via chat. Baia Mahault was good for supermarkets, a lovely commercial centre, and plenty of patisseries available. Not to near to any beaches though. You definitely need a car.
We went to the zoo, and the botanical gardens in Deshaie, definitely worth a visit. The best beaches are also in and around Deshaie.

Staying in Baie-Mahault in my case was a matter of convenience over beauty. It is in a central position between the two main halves of the island and both near to the airport and to large supermartkets and shops. Hence, if your aim is to travel around the island in a short time, it provides a good base. However, if you are looking for a relaxing stay in one area for a length of time, there are many prettier parts of the island to choose.
