Accra was a great tourist place, once you found yourself on 'professor Joseph Evan Atto-Mills High Street' LOL!, you were right where you needed to be as a starting point.
We didn't eat out much, we stayed with family had large breakfast, took sandwich and ate at family members houses! We also sought to avoid getting a doggy stomach which is really easy when you are not use to the food
Whilst not in central Accra, we ate at the Living Room Restaurant, which was a reasonable Ghana restaurant selling local food,it was full of the local Ghanaian which is always a good sign of a good restaurant.
Do your research of the places you can visit within Accra and don't forget Cape Coast, which should be done with STC or VIP avoid using the minibus service and avoid travelling at night.
Ghana was great, yet I am bias my family are from there and I spend time with family ,yet there are loads to do tourist-wise, which I finally did no this trip.
Uber and Bolt work in Ghana which is handy for getting around and even Google Map works in Ghana too!
We found Ghana (whilst in Accra and Kumasi) to be safe, yet the local recognise you and market stall seller always ask you to buy stuff, yet a polite no thank you and moving on is all that is required.
Haggle if you want to!
Assuming that your exchange rate is good, let them enjoy your cedi, whilst a tip is usually 15%, Do remember to tip and 50cedi-100 cedi tip if you can afford it, will really make them smile.

Accra, the vibrant capital of Ghana, offers a rich tapestry...
Accra, the vibrant capital of Ghana, offers a rich tapestry of culture, history, and modernity. This bustling metropolis boasts beautiful beaches like Labadi and Kokrobite, where visitors can unwind and enjoy the Atlantic Ocean. The city's history is vividly displayed at the National Museum and Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, celebrating Ghana's journey to independence. Accra's lively markets, such as Makola Market, offer a sensory overload of colors, sounds, and aromas. The burgeoning arts scene, highlighted by the Artists Alliance Gallery and Chale Wote Street Art Festival, showcases local talent and creativity. Accra's nightlife is equally dynamic, with numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants offering delicious Ghanaian cuisine and live music. Despite traffic congestion and occasional power outages, Accra's warm hospitality and energetic vibe make it a captivating destination.

It is a more organised version of Nigeria. Good for tourism. There are many places to learn about the history and culture- National Museum Accra, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Osu Castle etc.
It's very easy to exchange dollars/euros/pounds to the local currency. On average, Accra is not expensive for a capital city. The people are also fun and lively. Great destination. Good hotels too!

Accra is a city with many layers.
Accra is a city with many layers. You need to take time to see all of it and the best advice is to ditch Google and ask the local taxi drivers for what ever you fancy. Be specific and don`t be shocked to find first world restaurants tucked away in obscure run down streets. Stay away from tourist traps as Ghana is expensive as it is and malls charge over and above for things you can have in the city for less.
Firstly the host, Richard was amazing - he was very much hands on ensuring I was well settled in the room, acquainted me with the area including good spots in Accra as this was my first time in Ghana. The room was as advertised on page - clean, comfortable bed, nice interior finishing, fresh bedding, clean fresh smelling room - It was literally home away from home. Also they have top, latest gym equipment and a supermarket and pharmacy within the vicinity. Definitely coming back again to Signature Luxury Apartments on my next Ghana visit.
the style of furnishing and finishing is so modest and cool. it just feels like home with no intent of leaving. this apartment made my stay in ghana. and i would want to stay there whenever i visit ghana again and i would also recommend the Mcass apartments because the view from the 15th floor is a site to behold at night, been been able to see the airport is a bliss on its own.
The host was so helpful, respectful and so nice, hardly will u find a host like that.. I'm a Ghanaian traveling with my family and I know what I'm saying lol..
