The home is a traditional home. From the outside, it is pretty typical of what you see. The inside has been upgraded for comfort, but has also retained its beauty and charm. The bed and bedding was super comfortable and the room was very big. Our host’s directions were spot on and we had no problems driving right to the property. The name was on the gate, so super easy to find. The breakfast the next morning was typical for the area and was delicious. We found that Zestiponi was fairly central and this would have been a great site to settle in for a few days and take day trips from there.

This is one of the best places we have stayed on our Georgia trip - a spacious room with enormous most comfortable bed, a great restaurant for dinner and breakfast, delicious wine made on-site and gorgeous indoor pool. And the staff are the best! Great value. Highly recommend!

It's a strange place, full of fast food restaurants along the highway. Some people were very nice to us, the hotel staff was great, but we also got many suspicious looks, and a lady in a Daily shop refused to sell goods to us, presumably because she thought we were Russian. We only stayed there because we needed to reach Chiatura. There doesn't seem to be much to do there.

Only there for one night as a stop.
Only there for one night as a stop. It gave me vibes of being extremely dodgy, poor and in disrepair, even by Georgian standards. I did not feel safe out at night. Though I felt a little nervous in every Georgian city, Zestaponi felt especially bad. I’m sure it’s nice during the day, but I can’t comment on that.
