Vera and David were incredible hosts, so warm, friendly, and genuine, it felt like they were treating us as their own grandchildren. Out of our two weeks here in Georgia, this was definitely the highlight thanks to them. They told us stories about how they met, how they ended up here, about their children and grandchildren, their thoughts on Georgian culture and history. David showed us his handicraft, he is a very talented man who creates art, wood and cement decorations, music, and more. They treated us with a delicious dinner on our first night here even though it’s not included on the listing, they gave us a tour of their wine cellar, and gave us wine and chacha, and talked with us through the night. When my girlfriend got sick, they gave her medicine and homemade kompot. The breakfast was also great, and when we mentioned that we really liked their homemade sauce, they gave us a whole jar of it. In the morning, Vera gave us a walking tour around the village, showing is a few old churches and ruins. Although the tour is supposed to be paid, she asked no charge for it. Vera and David also helped us to plan our next day in Alazani valley, and even called her daughter to check the status of a road we were planning on taking and suggested an alternative, safer route.
The home itself is situated in a village, and its a great way to see a more rural part of Georgia. It has an amazing view of the Caucasus mountains. The home itself is built in large part by David himself, it is very clean and decorated with love and care, you really feel at home when you’re there. The garden outside has many beautiful plants and flowers and a spring, and they have 3 friendly dogs (as well as a parrot).
One thing to note is that they only speak Russian and Georgian, so you may need to use a translator otherwise.
It was unfortunate that we only stayed for one night, they have return guests and I can definitely see why. We will definitely visit again if we return to Georgia.

Very good breakfast ! Everything is very tasty, fresh vegetables, coffee, tea, butter, cheese, eggs, jams, sweet cupcakes, several types of omelets, sausages, seasonal fruits. Large and comfortable rooms. Nice pool. And most importantly - an amazing view.

David and his family made us feel right at home, felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. Great hospitality. David also took us to an auto repair shop when we had a flat tire. The property is beautiful, great lounging area with hanging chairs and beer on tap, nice pool to cool down in the heat. We had a wonderful stay. Food was awesome, and we were also able to try David’s homemade wine which was the best we tasted in Georgia !!!

The estate grounds are stunning, from the dense tree alley on the drive up, to the restaurant terrace, and the vineyard behind -- there's pure beauty anywhere you look.
The room was clean, with a large balcony, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and great water pressure in the shower.
Breakfast was varied and delicious. The restaurant menu is a little modest, but we were happy with every dish we ordered. The lamb mtsvadi, skinless tomato salad with badiauri cheese, and buffalo matsoni panna cotta were my personal highlights. We had plenty of the estate wine to go with dinner as well, and were pleasantly surprised to wake up without a trace of hangover the next morning.
Truthfully, I can't say enough nice things about this place. Came to celebrate two birthdays, and everything exceeded my expectations and made for a very special and memorable trip. I'm already planning another visit!

We came with a child and it was fine, too, but this place seems to be ideal for couples, very romantic and beautiful. The interiors and exteriors are so stylish. No wonder why many choose to rent it our for weddings. We loved it.

Very beautiful area and building, Limited Breakfast, little bit smelly rooms because of old building. Nice staff, except girl for reservation calls. Special thanks to Sopo from Restaurant for hospitality. As for the food in the restaurant, if you don’t like tarragon you will have trouble to choose food. Otherwise nice stay for a calm weekend.
