It is an ugly place with dirty beaches.
It is an ugly place with dirty beaches. The city does not suggest you anything more. I know that there are people who go there for sand beaches, anyway, they were so dirty that it is difficult to enjoy. Have been there for 4 days, will never go again.

Sandy beaches are few in Georgia, as I am told. Ureki boasts "magnetic sand," a supposed cure for all kinds of maladies. Unfortunately, the old infrastructure, narrow road, lack of parking and sidewalks, as well as litter makes things feel a little not taken care of.
Our children loved playing in the sand, swimming in the shallow sea, and enjoying time away from city-life. Lifeguards on patrol added to the feeling that it was a safe place.

First and foremost, the highlight of staying at Princ Georgia are the owners. Irakli is an incredibly friendly and charming man who went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were comfortable during our stay here.
The hotel itself is located quite close to the central Ureki area, and you have direct access to the black sand beach. Incredible value for money.
A nice modern apartment with swimming pool access. Well equipped kitchen. Big parking area. Quiet surroundings. Nikora- shop is on the way to the sea as lots of local veggie markets. Free transfer from Ureki railway station.
