Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The house is located right by the river and we were able to go for a short swim before dinner. The place has some fun decorations including some interesting paintings. We had dinner at the house restaraunt, which had an extensive menu, including vegetarian options. The breakfast was fabulous.

The Canionel guesthouse is situated right at the Martvili canyon, in the middle of the tourist attractions, and next to the visitor center. During the day, the area is very busy with tourists arriving for the day. Very calm during the night, when the tourists have gone. The rooms were comfortable, simple and very clean. We had a little balcony which I loved. You can make your own coffee and tea at a table next to reception and there is a restaurant serving beautiful Georgian dishes attached to the hotel. Staff were very friendly. We had a great jeep tour to visit the waterfalls with the hotel manager.
