We had a wonderful experience at this hotel exactly one year ago and decided to return. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a unique feature that's rare to find in Georgia—a well-maintained Russian banya (sauna). We went on a full-day hiking tour through autumn forests and hills to reach the waterfall. It was an excellent experience.

This place is great! It has a huge garden, the flat was nice and clean. But the best about this place are the hosts: They spent a lot of time explaining everything about Georgia, sharing their food with us and the dinner and breakfast from Maka was just great.
Johnny even drove us to our next stop in Sighnaghi and Maka drove us into town for shopping.
Great location but the town lacked restaurants. On Friday night we had to taxi out to a restaurant located near the border crossing. It was good but it would be nice if they had a good selection in town. Most places to eat are associated with guest houses and not necessarily open to the public. The reserve was great. It was beautiful, well-signed and had helpful staff.

The National Park is a very old, massive forest that has incredible density and colors. There are many trails to take and you can go all the way to the Border to see 3 glacier lakes surrounded by beautiful views. The restaurant in the park, near the entrance is also quite good.
