Service was sweet, felt like a home, in general the place felt more like a comfy home-guesthouse than a hotel. Met some new people, residents. Restaurant was nice, food rather tasty and reasonable pricing. Had a beautiful window view and the place was near the lake, just a small walk to the beach.

Everything I could have asked for in a lodging and more. Golden Cradle is a special gem unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed in my travels abroad. Aside from the obvious allure of staying in such a unique building it’s extra special for being next to a beautiful lake and having the most hospitable of hosts who really went out of their way to be accommodating and make me feel welcomed like family. Nice little cottages that felt really cozy and a private bathroom. There was a big yard with a playground for the kids. The food was good. It was very quiet and a good compromise for a cabin get away but not getting to far away from the city.
