Lovely old style building with cozy comfy rooms. Coffee and tea facilities plus water provided. Also wifi is very good even in the rooms across the courtyard. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Stayed twice now and will stay again when next in the area.

Overall ,excellent. Breakfast was outstanding. Sadly we did not try the dinner menu which looked very good as we were invited out . The restaurant has numerous awards for its food. The restaurant is shut Sunday night. Quiet and very comfortable rooms.

This is more a rural area with towns and villages nearby.
This is more a rural area with towns and villages nearby. Very close to the Norfolk border with the market town of Diss only a few miles away. Stowmarket and Ipswitch are also not that far. There are castles and the coast not that far either.
The White Horse Pub on the A140 is highly recommended. The food was fantastic and very friendly staff too.
Great place to visit and use as a base to travel out from for a weekend in Suffolk or Norfolk. You do need a car though to get around.

The hotel was very accommodating in allowing us to arrive a little later than the normal booking in time. The staff member on duty was very welcoming and showed us to our room. He was equally hospitable in the morning when we went to sign out. The room was fabulous and made our stay a real experience. Both the chaise long and the bed were beautiful, wonderfully presented and very comfortable. It made for a very romantic stay. The bathroom was very spacious and well lit.
The owner of the hotel was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the food and wines that he served. The food was high-class cuisine and amazing. This was definitely a highlight of our stay, as we ate in the restaurant for two of our three nights stay. The breakfast was superb, too, with local produce being used where possible. The bedroom was a good size with the bed being very comfortable. We will definitely return!
The hotel is very nice and the staff was very helpful, super friendly and always went the extra mile to make as feel as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was delicious and always very fresh. The rooms are very nice and spacious with a view over the beautiful veggie garden. I very much recommend the hotel.
Fantastic helpful hosts, nothing to dislike about this place, very comfortable 4 poster bed, clean hotel and rooms, Breakfast was also excellent, Sadly we did not eat in the restaurant, but will do next visit
