Good instructions sent on the day which allowed me to access the communal area and my room. The manager also sent me her mobile number in case of difficulties.
The location is right in the town centre so although there is a kitchenette in the room where you could prepare your own meal, I enjoyed the evening meal in the Italian restaurant next door and the short walk to Boswell's cafe the following morning for a proper English breakfast!

Our room was spacious, clean and presentable. The meals we had were very good with plenty to eat.

To short a visit to offer a fair opinion.
To short a visit to offer a fair opinion. Convenient for both Westonbirt and Slimbridge, and a short visit to Tetbury was enjoyable. The room was adequate for sleeping but not to sit and read quietly.

The room was ok.
The room was ok. I wasn't overly keen on the walls showing wear/tear. The bathroom was to die for! I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the room. It was obvious that cleaning was a high priority in the rooms as other parties also said their rooms were very clean. Check in was super friendly and breakfast the next morning was so good! Honestly a great portion size and nothing was too much trouble for our server. Check out was simple and easy to do. I would be happy to stay again. The bed was super comfy and my partner and I slept really well.

Booked for an overnighter en-route to London from North Devon to spend Christmas with family. Hotel was very close to the M5 and also dog friendly. Room was nice and big and plenty of parking and field nearby to walk dogs.
Lovely helpful lady on reception.
Lots of little extras in the room like books, games, toiletries, teas and coffees, fruit bars and a nice hot cross bun with it being Easter weekend :-). Ideally placed to use Yate Park & Ride as well. Lovely little garden and conservatory to just relax in.
Always known this hotel as grew up in the area so pleased to finally stay especially as aware of the folklore and good enough for the queen in a snow storm, ok for me and my family.. tired around the edges but staff lovely. would stay again.
