Exceeded our expectations on all fronts!!!! Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared using local ingredients and from their organic farm! Also had dinner which was fantastic! Warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff were attentive, friendly and cheeky! Rooms were unique and very clean! Relaxed vibe, one of the best places we have ever stayed in England! Fantastic pub! A hearty welcome to this touring cyclist upon arrival. The most unique, arguably the best, cycle storage I have seen as I have cycled around the world—a dedicated and locked shed for your bike. Fantastic!
The pub. Beautiful! Great beers. No dinner as I ate in town, but the breakfast was absolutely first rate. Delicious, plentiful, super high quality.
The room was superb. Lovely. Clean as a whistle. Very comfortable. Great bathroom, great soaps, great towels. Absolutely first rate.
A serene and quiet location just a couple easy miles from town.
If ever I cycle near here again, I will definitely stay at the Greyhound again. Many thanks to all for a splendid stay!

Woolstone was a great place to stay, locals are very friendly and everything you need is all a small walk away. Visiting white horse view was spectacular. Advised by the staff of the white horse pub to visit Westgate shopping in Oxford was a great idea. Only had breakfast in the white horse where we stayed they have a pizza oven outside and it all looked amazing.

Quirky chalet type room adjacent to the hotel. Clean and well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Bathroom upstairs in the loft. Great quality cooked breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent home cooked food, professionally prepared and attractively served. Competitively priced. Lovely typical old English pub. No need to go out after a long day as it has everything you need.
We found noisy dogs allowed in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast rather annoying. In future we won't book hotels that claim to be "Dog Friendly" as this undoubtably leads owners to feel that their animals are (or should be) accepted with no limitations. Our fault for not realising that "Dog Friendly" inevitably means less friendly to customers without dogs.
This pub is a hide gem. Idiotic location for quite nights sleep. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Woolstone is a traditional pub offering excellent food, and Ales is all served by friendly and welcome staff. If we are in the area and need somewhere to stay, the Woolstone will be our first choice 😊
Hidden gem in the hamlet of Woolstone, just below the Uffington White Horse and Ridgeway so great place to stay as a base for walking. Lovely, ancient pub with cozy meals. The accommodation is in an adjacent building, all modern and up-to-date. Great showers and breakfast too!
