The Woburn, hotel in Woburn

Sitting proudly at the heart of picturesque Woburn Village, you’ll find The Woburn – a charming 18th-century property under the stewardship of the award-winning Oakman Group.

One of the staff, Neil, was fantastic to help find an extra extension cord for us during an obviously busy night. We had one of the larger rooms at it was very nice and had some charm to it.

The White Hart, hotel in Ampthill

Featuring a shared lounge and a bar, The White Hart is located in Ampthill, 8.2 miles from Woburn Abbey and 13 miles from Milton Keynes Bowl.

I really enjoyed my stay, this is a charming site and a good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. It was fun to stay in a place with so much history, too--a mural from 1646 above the fireplace in the dining room! I had two very nice meals, with lovely service, in the restaurant as well. I would certainly stay here again if the opportunity to be in Ampthill presented itself again.

Characterful location, the village looks interesting and deserves exploration. Good countryside around and Woburn Estate feels like should give some interesting walks and scenery as well as the deer herd! I passed an interesting looking church on my departure and given time that looked to again be worth investigating. Not an area I have visited much in the past but my brief stay whet the appetite to return The Bell Hotel was a good choice to stay with reasonably priced accommodation in a character building with a good pub/restaurant on the opposite side of the main street which added to that character somehow. Woburn is a place not to be simply driven through!

It was excellent. Thank you Florina for organising. It was a very different experience to what one usually receives (staying in traditional commercialised hotels) The town was lovely and Adam was a wonderful host.

Woburn is beautiful, the safari is amazing!

Woburn is beautiful, the safari is amazing! The walking trails are beautiful! Green king takes advantage of this!! Road noise was horrendous 😱from around 4.30 am! The place was great but if I was to return if I couldn’t have a rear room I wouldn’t go!!

We stayed over to break the journey up from Newcastle to Kent. We went to Woburn safari park, it was amazing, drive around the safari as many times as you want up until an hour before the park closes, takes on average 1hr to 1:45 to do a circuit. Then there’s the walk safari which was ok. Nice leisurely walk. Would definitely visit here in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the lovely town of Woburn. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped for the money. The manager was delightful and helpful, and so were all the staff. I stayed for one night to meet some friends and enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept like a baby. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cosy and friendly place to stay in Woburn.

Very pleasant hotel at a nice location in Woburn. The staff/owner were great! First, they accommodated and early check-in. They were very helpful throughout our short stay. But they real key was when they gave us a lift to the station when we couldn't get the taxi company on the phone. That was really going above and beyond! Tasty breakfast as well!

Excellent location in a small pretty town, very convenient for access to Woburn Safari Park. Like the shops, eateries and park. Good food from Bell pub. Decent breakfast, very good smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, tasty risotto with sea bass and scallops, and belly pork for lunch.
