First time traveling in this area. Was delighted with the quaint location, cleanliness, and atmosphere of the Inn. The garden area was lovely also. Even had a staff member offer to show us everything planted out there.

A complimentary breakfast basket in the room was a lovely idea, everything we needed to set us up for the day. Although it is a room above a busy pub we were not unduly disturbed by the noise because the double glazing worked well. We just needed a room for one night and it was good value for the price we paid.

The room was clean and comfortable, the full English breakfast good, and the town centre location very convenient. It was also fairly quiet, even though my room looked over the high street. The staff were all welcoming and helpful, especially towards my doddery, deaf old Mum.

The accommodation is a lovely surprise as you walk inside...
The accommodation is a lovely surprise as you walk inside from a working farm yard.
While you can hear the road from the property, it certainly did mot interfere with our sleep or delight with the beautiful barn conversion.
Perfect stay.
fantastic place, spotlessly clean, very friendly owner, you couldn’t want for more. it would cost more to stay in a hotel room so having a 1 year old who could play about in the home and garden was fantastic
