Our hosts could not have been kinder or more helpful. Our car broke down (after our arrival) and the son of the hosts kindly took my husband to the pub where we had booked a table for our evening meal, in order to collect a take away for us. The tool shed is a haven of quiet and natural beauty and birdsong, but no shops anywhere close, so his help was invaluable. The AA had to take our car away the next day, and again our hosts could not have been kinder. We had gone to Dorset for a wedding, and friends picked us up, so we could be on time, leaving our car on the property, entrusting it to our hosts to handover. In addition we forgot our charger, and they kindly posted it to us.
Basic breakfast essentials are provided, including a coffee cafetière, ground coffee, milk and supermarket bread. The tool shed is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts who live next door have a very friendly and lovely dog who came to visit us.
Boasting garden views, Stay on the grounds of this beautiful Manor house offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 15 km from Poole Harbour.

Lovely peaceful location, although this was part of the host’s home, we felt very private. The grounds were lovely, we didn’t really explore much as we had a packed schedule but would definitely return! Having staying in 9 different places through Booking.Com in the last two months I am happy to say this place had one of the most comfortable mattresses!
Staff are lovely and very welcoming.
Great Italian restaurants nearby, we had dinner at one of them and the chicken in cream and mushroom sauce was divine.
We only had breakfast in the hotel a couple of times as we were room only.
Visit the minster and visit the library up the winding stairs if open. History there is incredible.

Wimborne Minster is a very picturesque town, with lots of cafe's, restaurant and shops, both high street names and independents, to explore. Sitting in the square, drinking a coffee and people watching, is a lovely way to pass an hour or so.

Quintessential English town with charming understated architecture and pleasant atmosphere. Good pubs/restaurants. The Minster is lovely to visit and worth the climb up the spiral stone staircase to see and hear about the chained library (one of only 5 left) but check opening times for the library. The Priests museum is also worth a visit and lovely garden for tea. Also, handy in reach of NT’s Kingston Lacey which is well worth 2-3 hours.

A beautifully renovated house -very comfy bed & gorgeous facilities all round. Only a 10-15 min drive to Wimborne which is a lovely market town which we were visiting. We also drove to Weymouth for a day trip which took about an hour.
This is a cosy, comfortable place with great walks in the woodlands and bus connections to Bournemouth and Poole. 15 minute walk into Wimborne. Great hosts, always friendly and helpful whenever I stay here.
Absolutely loved the room! Our second stay here, different room to first time and just as good.
Very clean, very comfortable and full of character
Lovely view of Wimborne Minster
