Staff on arrival were very welcoming and helpful.
Room was lovely, if a little small. But all we needed for one night.
Ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food and service were really good.
The coffee pods and fresh milk and water and fudge in the room were all welcome nice touches.

We went to visit a friend and stayed at the Plough about 15 minutes south. Wigglesworth is a friendly little town and there's lots of little shops and good food to be had. I even caught a show at the local theatre. A French Canadian folk band was playing so, being Canadian thought I would go see them.

A charming village in the scenic Yorkshire Dales.
A charming village in the scenic Yorkshire Dales. Long walks with scenery in every direction. The Plough has multiple fireplaces going on colder nights and a wonderful clutch of people in the pub. It’s like going back 50 years in my memories, but with new decor and all the up to date amenities.

A very pleasant quiet village.
A very pleasant quiet village. Really quiet at night with no glaring street lights, wonderful for sleeping. The Plough is central to the village life for both locals and tourists. Some very narrow scenic roads but take care driving around them

First time visited Wigglesworth and it's a beautiful village with great scenery, lands, amenities and the people are welcoming and polite.
We drove out to Settle too, about 5 minutes, found parking and walked into the village town and lots of places to sit and eat too.
