Lovely hotel full of character.
Staff were friendly as were the locals in the beautiful Wood panelled bar.
A good selection for breakfast including fresh fruit salad and slices of cheese and cooked meats. Personally I prefer this to the usual British cooked breakfast

Lovely friendly pub, very comfortable room, especially the bed and the quality of the linen. Food was superb, both dinner and breakfast. My steak was done to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyable stopover on the Offa's Dyke walk.

Relaxed country setting. Old charm and lots of atmosphere. Really friendly smart staff. Excellent food. Room was a chalet in the grounds so private and really charming, clean and well fitted out.
