Nicely located, once I found it. The property had everything I needed for a short stay and was comfortable enough.

Lovely place, lovely town, we took time to wander around, meet the locals, so many friendly people who took time to give us ideas (and directions) of places to visit. The Co Op grocery store even gave great recommendations local takeaways when one doesn't feel like cooking .Main thing we loved was the dog friendliness of places, from pubs to coffee shops, although some were more accommodating than others which is understandable.. Once again, beautiful place, will be back, thank you.

Beautiful coastal resort with lots of individual shops and restaurants. Very easy to get to only 1 hour 20 mins from London, so could easily do a day trip, but recommend a few days as lots to wonder around.

We loved the location and the concept of the huts.

We loved the location and the concept of the huts. It was close to the sea for nice walks, and close to town for shops and restaurants. Whitstable is a lovely, friendly place. The view of the sea from our bed was wonderful! The main problem was that my husband couldn't stand up straight downstairs! Maybe you should warn people about the low ceiling height? It was okay for two days, but would be a problem if we wanted to stay for longer next time.

Whitstable is a stunning seaside resort.

Whitstable is a stunning seaside resort. Lively harbour and miles of shingle beach with breakwater groins. The centre is full of independent little shops, bars and restaurants. Its like a step back in time before big retail chains dominated our High Street. Even has butcher shops and greengrocers - unheard of nowadays ! The choice and standard of food here is outstanding. So many great and varied places to eat and it still has a lot of pubs to choose from. Best time here is sunset where people gather on the shores to watch stunning sunsets and eat fish and chips and buy drinks from the little pop up bars. Heaven.

The Breakfasts at the hotel were excellent the best part of our stay. We stayed 5 days and I tried nearly everything on the menu and I can recommend them all. The hotel is old and needs a lot of renovation and money spent on it. It is expensive for a 3-star hotel prices they charge are more like 5-star prices, but there are very few hotels in the town so they can charge more or less anything. Should have a fridge in the rooms and for the price we paid should be a larger room with sofa. Howling wind coming through the windows if the direction is right. Lots of stairs and corridors to negotiate so beware if you have walking problems. Great views of the sea and shoreline. Also good walks along the front with the dog. I paid £20 per night for the dog which I thought was rather excessive, £10 would have been a fairer price.

It was a lovely, peaceful little town with fantastic shops, including independent ones and 3 or 4 small supermarkets. Lovely beachfront walks, history and close to Canterbury and other coastal resorts like Herne bay and Margate. We self catered and had fish and chips at the Neptune pub on the beach. Bit windy but great setting to watch the sunset. GARAGE was lovely cafe. Lot of places dog friendly too.

Fabulous location, small friendly hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Short walk to town and Whitstable is a great place to visit. The staff at the hotel were so helpful & efficient. Breakfast was fantastic & the lady running the 'Breakfast Buffet Area' was a warm & friendly character that made us smile every morning and she couldn't do enough for us (same can be said for all the staff throughout the hotel) Highly recommend a stay here. Thank You.
