Everything about our stay with Foyers House was wonderful. The beds were like fluffy clouds, the view was to die for and the cat welcoming committee was so cute. Louise was a lovely hostess and Terry cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast. I think it has been the highlight of our stay in Scotland.

Hosts, Barry and Em were so welcoming and helpful during our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, everything we needed with comprehensive descriptions of walks and places to visit. It is perfectly located with wonderful views of the surroundings and wildlife. Perfect location for walks to the local waterfalls and down to Loch Ness, also for day trips out in the car, to Inverness, Skye.

Everything was great. From the room, to Chris and Ellie, to the breakfast, my partner and I enjoyed every minute in Foyers, and our only regret was not staying for longer.
We were lucky enough to have wonderful conversations with Chris and Ellie's pictures of Scotland were gorgeous. They helped us a lot with getting around Scotland and were gracious enough to stay up late and wait for our arrival when we were late for the check-in time after getting a bit lost in the highlands.
The room was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. We even got to pet Peep the friendly rooster.
Overall, I'll be waiting to return to Scotland one day and defiantly spend some more time around Loch Ness and in Foyers Bay in particular.

My partner, our dog, and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Foresters Lodge near Loch Ness, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, Jane and Gill, the proprietors, extended a warm and genuine welcome, making us feel immediately at home.
The room exceeded our expectations in both size and amenities, providing ample space for us and our canine companion. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep amidst the tranquil forest surroundings. The lodge itself exudes rustic charm, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements its natural setting.
Jane and Gill's culinary skills are noteworthy; each meal was lovingly prepared and delicious. We particularly enjoyed the engaging conversations with them, which added a personal touch to our stay. Their knowledge of the local area was invaluable, offering excellent recommendations for walks and hikes suitable for us and our dog. The surrounding woodland is stunning, with numerous trails to explore, and the proximity to Loch Ness allowed for easy access to its most picturesque spots.
Foresters Lodge is truly dog-friendly, accommodating our pet with genuine hospitality. Jane and Gill's thoughtful suggestions for dog-friendly beaches and woodland walks enhanced our experience, making it enjoyable for all of us.
In summary, our stay at Foresters Lodge was delightful. The combination of excellent hosts, comfortable accommodations, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings made it a memorable retreat. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway near Loch Ness.

Our stay at Craik Na Dav B&B in Invermoriston was unforgettable. Lindsey and Manda were so welcoming, and the animals around the house – the dogs, birds, and even a legendary deer – added so much charm.
One highlight was the porridge. I was not too fond of porridge before this visit, but theirs was absolutely to die for – creamy, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful. They generously shared tips on making it the best, but to truly experience it, you have to visit them yourself. ;)
The facilities were excellent, and the thoughtful touches, like a whiskey dram for my partner’s sore throat, made us feel genuinely cared for. Lindsey and Manda also gave invaluable advice for our hike to Fort Augustus along the high route of the Great Glen Way. A heartwarming stay we’ll always remember!"
The hotel is delightful. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-furnished. There is a lovely residents' lounge with comfortable seating. The meals are of high quality and there is an excellent range of items for breakfast. This hotel is ideal for exploring the Loch Ness/Inverness region. Lastly, the owners and all the staff are very friendly, attentive, polite and helpful. It is a place which undoubtedly merits a return visit.
