The location on a long private driveway through Yorkshire Daleslike Countryside is beautiful I can see it being an ideal wedding location , but any special birthday or even a Company Reward location for successful Employees.A real treat.
The staff are amazing and make you feel on arrival that you are joining a family group, you immediately feel you are a member !
The building is Classic History and the immediateiate gardens a joy to behold
Byron Bar features oak paneling and an historic fireplace. The Courtyard Restaurant has a fine menu, and oak beams. Each room with attached bathroom at The Bridge has digital TV.

The house was a country manor house operated as a bed & breakfast. The room size was very large, with a four poster bed and a large attached bathroom. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with many traditional English plants and flowers. The breakfast was very good.

The house was charming! There were many rooms there on different levels and all were clean and cozy. We liked the most the upper floor - it had the best air and smell.
It was very calm outside and it was such a pleasure to look through the windows when it was dark and silent. Nothing compared to the city! I would definitely return there! I wish I could stay longer.

The accommodation was basic, no curtains in 2 of the bedrooms, very small. The bath/shower wouldn't drain away, we contacted host and stay to report this straightaway but it didn't get fixed even though they told us to leave our key in the key box every time when left the accommodation.
The only positive is the location, I would not stay in this accommodation again, as it was too small, basic and the bathroom not working correctly

Enjoyed the walks along the river. Highly recommend a visit to friendly Wetherby. Fish and chips at Wetherby Whaler is superb.

The hotel as described was not upto what was expected.
The hotel as described was not upto what was expected. The hotel needs a refresh and refurb and a good clean and repairs such as toilet seats, ours was broken. Shower not working, cleanliness of shower poor. The hotel was not acceptable. Breakfast poor continental only but very little fruit. Staff not unfriendly but not chatty or asking if we were okay at reception and in the dining room. Just altogether poor.

Lumpy bed, nothing to cool room down breakfast is poor and you are better going to Greg's next door or Morrisons down road, had to wait for a table and was over crowded and not worth the price you pay, hairs on window cill and desk and had to wait for room as it was not ready,

Good location but they couldn’t find my booking on arrival at 10.30pm after a long drive.
Odd numbered rooms on the second floor overlook the delivery yard for the service station shops. Great if you like being woken up from 5am onwards!!

Stayed in Wetherby as cheaper option to Harrogate which we were visiting. Staff were friendly, however, Club room was opposite room cleaners storage and they were noisy in the morning. Did not use restaurant as only carvery offered in evening. Did not have breakfast.
The Hotel and its grounds are gorgeous, we had a lovely room with good facilities and good views. They even are the first hotel (of many good quality hotels we’ve stayed in) to actually put Gluten Free biscuits in the room with the normal biscuits, maybe a minor point for some but Major for me..very impressed, as having always told hotels about this aspect no one has ever done this for me before..it boded very well!
The Spa looked great although we didn’t use it. The staff were very welcoming and friendly...but more later...
Spacious and bright room; very pleasant lounge/reception area with bar; good breakfast available; helpful and friendly staff on reception and ease of access from service area. I had been led to believe that Days Inns were VERY basic - I can’t categorically state that this is NOT the case at Wetherby!
A lovely hotel in the centre of Wetherby. The room was great with everything you needed and the breakfast was excellent. The manager and all staff were very pleasant and would certainly stay here again.
