great hotel. fabulous facilities. I had a chance to use the newly refurbished spa this time too which I highly recommend. The hot tub is just divine and the steam room is wonderful.

Room was nice, location was where we wanted and staff were very good. The evening meal and breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Was lucky enough it get a car parking spot.
HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!
Booked 3 rooms . 1 was a disable room ( It is a disaster waiting to capture another victim ) When i found out , i cancelled that room . I was left with 2 rooms. Got into the room, and it was boiling hot. No AC. I asked and was told that was the only room and that i should manage the room , till the next morning. They got a fan and i told them that i don't do well with a fan. (they pleaded , began to promise an upgrade, free food , if only i could just spend the night . Now this was almost midnight because we got in there very late . I told them that i need to check out . i Called booking.com to in form them , they called the hotel and the hotel told them they had offered me heaven and earth . ( I was cajoled to spend the night there over my safety and comfort ) The next morning , i booked another hotel and checked out . I called booking.com to inform them that i was checking out and booking.com called the hotel back and the hotel told the lady frombooking.com that they would process my FULL refund . Today makes it 2 weeks and this hotel has not refunded my 4 nights stay that i paid in FULL for . They keep passing me around staff after staff. The person responsible for the refund never gets to work till 3pm .
A peep into their restaurant is appalling . I am a frequent traveler who looks forward to English breakfast , but i would have fallen ill if i tasted the food. Display of food is an eyesore . Hopefully , this hotel will refund the money that i paid . Their communication is ZERO . Neither has booking.com been of help to recover my refund .
This hotel is rubbish . I eventually stayed the rest of my time in birmingham at CLAYTON HOTEL.

It was not a holiday or business travel - we needed somewhere to stay for a short period while work was done on our house. For tourists/leisure visitors, Booking.com should provide local information about Sandwell attractions - all the places referred to on the website are in Birmingham. Sandwell has some great places to visit - 5 Council-operated museums/art galleries/historic houses (Oak House, West Bromwich - 10 minutes walk from Headrose House); it is also at the heart of the canal system. Dartmouth Park/Sandwell Valley is a fabulous place to visit with lots of things to do. For people who do want to go to Brum, the tram will get you there in 25 minutes.

The best thing was the location to the town centre.
The best thing was the location to the town centre. There was a newsagents and mini market directly opposite handy for late night munchies.
Macdonalds a 3 minute walk and parking nearby.
Whilst not particularly cheap it was suitable for a pitstop.

West Brom has some good places to eat, cinema, clubs and pubs, BUT, it is in Sandwell, a deprived area of the Midlands and there are as many shops closed as open ( or so it seems). It is a place to pass through, or work, not necessarily visit, unless you are visiting one of the specialist clubs.
The hotel was easy to find, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were good. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. We were given a welcome drink on arrival which we enjoyed in the bar area. It was handy to go into Birmingham city centre on the local train which took 10minures with free park and ride.
