We came for the Harry Potter tour but had a night to do what we like. we went to a restaurant called Il Pellegrino and the food was banging 👌 and also have a few drinks if that's what you're interested in there's seems to be plenty of choice. Not sure about other things as we're only there for one night. But it's a decent place.

The town of Watford is a great area to stay if you want to be away from the large city. Watford Junction is so easy to catch train into London.
Watford is a very walkable city. Plenty of restaurants and bars. The street market is wonderful.

From being able to check in early to leaving with smiles on our faces our stay at the Watford holiday Inn was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and always there to help, the food was great especially the fish chips we had in the evening, the best I've tasted not from a proper chippy, I'd 100% recommend this holiday inn and I suspect every other holiday inn are the same, when I go on another trip the first place I am going to look to stay at is the holiday Inn, you lot have won me over.

We went to Watford purely for a family visit as this is where we used to live. It was great to go back and revisit some of our old favourite places and acted as a good base for us to travel out to other surrounding locations. I would however not recommend for a holiday destination as the main town centre has very few shops etc or much to see.
Great location for train line into London etc.
