The hotel is bang in the middle of a very busy city centre with lots of traffic and noise surrounding it, especially in the morning traffic hour. The hotel itself is pleasant, comfortable with sufficient parking. The staff are very kind and friendly always willing to assist and help which is an added bonus. The rooms are large, roomy with all that one needs. The rooms are sound proof so if you have the window closed you hear nothing from outside and a good night's sleep is 100 per cent guaranteed. The manager, Richard, was very accommodating and very friendly ensuring my stay was good and went out of his way to make me feel valued as a guest. Kudos to him and his staff, especially Zak who is superbly tall and just very pleasant and helpful.
Staff/breakfast fantastic.
Room poorly furnished, very dated & rusty/cracked bathroom fittings,no bathroom heating.
Good free parking available, but only 2 disabled spaces.
The disabled room (no.29)was 14 room lengths away down a corridor from the disabled parking space making carrying luggage very difficult.& return visits to car very tiring.
Avoid room take away evening meals, enjoy great comprehensive inclusive breakfast.

I was very pleased with the price of accommodation considering the majority of other accommodation in the area far exceeds what I wished to pay. All the other accommodation properties increased their prices due to being high season.

We had a large accessible room with plenty of room for my wheelchair in the bedroom and bathroom. Could have used a second comfy chair as hubby wasn't comfy on the office chair. Those are my only gripes! Hotel was very clean, staff very helpful, polite and welcoming. Large choice at breakfast, I can't imagine anyone not finding something that they liked. I was even cooked some croissants as they'd run out ( thank you Tracy and Cheryl!). Would happily return. There was loads of pubs, takeaways and restaurants in the area so we didn't use the restaurant in the evening.

Incredible value for money. This chain will now be our go-to budget hotel choice. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and wonderful staff. Particular shout out to Zoe and Kirsty. Nothing was too much trouble.
