When we arrived, they could not find our booking even though it was booked in November 2023, we had our booking confirmation with us as well, they had to find us a room, not what we booked, they gave us one free night,, and breakfast. They also blamed booking.com for not sending the booking information over. Not happy customers. Especially as we are regular booking.com customers and also Marriot Members which is what the Hotel is.

I was born there so am disappointed that all the hotels are priced so high yet standards are so low.
I hate to pay to stay in my hometown but that's what you get when all your relatives are dead. Compared to the Warwick of the 50/60's it is an eyesore now and the beautiful green spaces we played in are all jam-packed with estates.
I'm so glad to have moved out yet so sad to see a great town go down the toilet.
Yet it still retains it's place in History as it should, as it is a unique centre for the past of medieval England.

A visit to Warwick castle is a thoroughly enjoyable, informative and partly entertaining (falconry, archery, etc.) day out, particularly if the weather is settled.
There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits to visit.
Warwick is convenient for visiting other close places such as Stratford on Avon.

An interesting and quaint town with an illustrious history.
An interesting and quaint town with an illustrious history. The castle is a fascinating place and testimony to the town's past and well worth a visit. lt's also an ideal place for walking around if you need exercise. Apart from a few noisy crazy motorists who thought they owned the roads, a pleasant place. For historical junkies like me, more information would have been beneficial.

Object of our visit was to go to Warwick Castle. Great place for a day out and especially good for families. There were plenty of activities and lots of shows, so felt this was a good value day out. The Birds of Prey show was absolutely incredible - worth going for that alone. We saw the first show of the day and then went back to see it again. We went to a medieval banquet in the evening. Great atmosphere but could not be described as a banquet and was therefore overpriced. The previous evening we had a meal in The Tilted Wig, which we highly recommend.

Have visited Warwick and Leamington Spa on previous occasions, but for a specific get together, not to explore the City more closely. Jury St and teh Market Place are interesting and worthy of closer attention. Perhaps another time we can make a week of it.

5nts in Warwick allowed us to see all on offer and do a day trip to Stratford upon Avon (by train) too. Warwick Castle (expensive but definitely worth paying for), Lord Leycester (medievil buildings), St Mary's church and the Royal Warwick Fusiliers museum. we enjoyed Charlecote Park (visited by bus) which is the home of the Lucy family and has beautiful parkland.
There are lots of restaurants/pubs in Warwick with Giggling Squid (Thai), and Piccolinos (Italian) jumping out. We also had a drink and something to eat in the Black Pug, which has a lovely garden area. For a wonderful scone or full afternoon tea visit the Thomas Oakeham Tea Rooms right near the castle (includes gluton free).
If travelling by train note that there are 2 railway stations for Warwick, Warwick WRW and Warwick Parkway WRP, make sure to know which one you need to get off at. WRW is in Warwick itself.
The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and they seemed to enjoy working in the hotel.
The room was very warm and the beds comfortable. The water was nice and hot for a shower.
Service in the restaurant and bar was excellent. We would definitely like to re-book at this hotel if coming to Warwick again.
Good location near centre of Warwick. Good breakfast and dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel appears to be thriving with many locals n the bar when we arrived late afternoon and a good clientele for dinner.
