Friendly and helpful staff.
Restaurant service excellent, however, food very basic and pricy never had fried gnocchi before and wouldn't order them anymore, croquettes were blackened by overused frying oil. Area seems nice and plenty of parking spaces.
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice, very helpful staff, clean and great value for money.

Waltham Abbey is a brilliant place for a weekend if you like nature, going biking or bird watching. Highlight is the White Water Centre. Fantastic place to watch and try out canoes, kayaks and paddle-boards. Great place for an active outdoor weekend

The foyer, bar area, is very spacious with plenty of seating. The restaurant is also spacious and nicely decorated - loved the wooden high ceiling there. Room had all amenities and good size - tv a good size too.
Hotel is not far from Epping where we had a 50th party to attend and taxi from hotel and back was reasonable for a bank holiday.

I was totally disappointed with my stay at Delta Marriott Waltham abbey, I booked in for 2 nights & I didn't have a working TV in my room so early evening was a total loss
as I had just returned from Switzerland & spent my day with my grandson & great grandson, getting back to my room was not relaxing as I needed my TV to help me after a along day out,

Waltham Abbey and High Beach was beautiful and the people...
Waltham Abbey and High Beach was beautiful and the people very friendly we’ve got to see the two houses we were born in Amble tapping out grandfather’s farm met people from Waltham Abbey now and then and shared stories . Went to the Kingshead and the Wheatsheaf for lunch lovely food . Walked through Epping Forest and it is steeped in history with lots of information on the way .
Would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful village .

Enjoy our trip to the Abbey Church and gardens.
Enjoy our trip to the Abbey Church and gardens. The museum was very interesting. All the shops and buildings were highly individual. The history is amazing if you know where to look.
A visit to the Tourist information Centre is a great starting point

“0-star review for this hotel.
We booked a room for my driver at this property, but the experience was terrible. Both my driver and I tried calling the contact number provided, but no one ever answered. Additionally, there was no clear address listed on the booking. In the end, my driver had no choice but to sleep in the van. Very poor service.”
I loved the customer service. I feel he also tried to make me and my friend feel very welcome by having a firestick and having a whole range of movies and films. I feel the quality of the flat is a home type of design to make everyone feel welcome and happy about the design just like a hotel.
Waltham Abbey proved to be a interesting place -history and nature (water-birds). It was indeed pleasant and peaceful.
Transport to and from London was good (Oyster system excellent!) - but the short platform at Waltham Cross was a problem (we had not been warned!).
Originally from Waltham Abbey. We like to reminisce how Waltham Abbey used to be. Obviously smaller less people less roads and traffic. Knowing Waltham Abbey as I do. I can still find the interesting parts.
