The hotel was lovely and I was pleased with the room although sadly, there was no hot water for the duration of my stay. Obviously, that was not the fault of the staff; a problem with the boiler. Having discussed my concerns with the delightful ladies, Veronica, Abbie and Amy a satisfactory solution was arrived at. My thanks to these lovely, accommodating, helpful ladies!! The hotel was warm, clean and very friendly, just a pity I didn't get to use my gorgeous free standing bath; next time!! I much appreciated having the EV charger reserved for my use; this much alleviated 'range anxiety' thank you Abbie!

Lovely stylish apartment in a fantastic location, literally moments away from the restaurants and pubs of Wallingford's town centre. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Ruth was very friendly and responsive and gave great recommendations on where to eat in Wallingford. Le Clos is a must! Thank you Ruth for a wonderful stay and for the complimentary cookies (well we hope they were for us?!).

Only spent one night in Wallingford as walking the Ridgeway, it was heavy rain through the duration of our stay but looked an nice olde market town. Waitrose was good . Ate out at the Five Little Pigs which was clean and modern but food a bit too over complicated for my taste

Beautiful picturesque part of England.
Beautiful picturesque part of England. Nice to get away from busy cities. We attended a World War 2 memorial service for LULU plane crash in Ipsden. Visit to Botley Cemetery where my uncle is buried with crew members. Four RAF, three RCAF. Would have enjoyed longer in Wallingford to explore the town.

The town and surrounding areas are a pleasure to visit.
The town and surrounding areas are a pleasure to visit. The town itself seems to have everything that is required for a relaxing weekend. We attended the Agatha Christie weekend and had a lovely time. Mollies restaurant offered a murder mystery evening which was well organised and the staff and actors of very high calibre. We also attended the Murder Mystery boat trip organised by the local council and this also was of a high standard. We also attended a talk on the history of the writer and visited the museum and a play put on by local children. All in all a very pleasurable experience. Definitely would recommend visiting Wallingford to anyone. We will making further visits in the future.

Nice market town next to the river. Offers a full range of shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate in the Old Post Office which was nicely laid out and served a wide selection of dishes. There are also a range of independent shops and walks along the river.

Lovely little town.
Lovely little town. We came for the 1940s day out at the steam railway. People very friendly. Had lovely meal at The Old Post Office. Nice pubs. Impressive Agatha Christie monument. Would definitely recommend a visit. Note that Sundays a lot of the shops and restaurants are closed.
The choice of breakfast was excellent, the service was quick and efficient and the food was good quality. The location of the hotel was excellent for exploring Wallingford town and the surrounding areas and situated near to many local restaurants and pubs.
This is beautiful old hotel on the river. It is exactly what you would expect from a rural hotel. We loved the breakfast, the rooms were clean and the bathrooms recently refurbished. The staff were pleasant and efficient.
Nice room in the centre of Wallingford. Staff were great in accommodating a last minute request for a breakfast basket. Selfcheck-in was straightforward.
