This is a lovely old hotel, centrally located with a good dining room and pub area. Very close to bus service. Good selection of restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend staying here.
Walkerburn has few facilities. Need to travel to Peebles or Galashiels/Melrose for a choice of shops and for dining out. Elibank House is located a few miles from the village on the other side of the river in a lovely location along a minor road.
