The staff make this hotel exceptional. Peter, and Kay are amazing people who made me feel welcome and valued and nothing was too much trouble.. perfect for a solo traveler spending the week at the hotel. Even the night porter Dan! Offered me a coffee for my early morning, long journey home.

At our arrival, we were welcomed by a very kind and friendly lady who showed us the room and gave all the information we needed about Gravesend.
The room I got was large (with two windows!); the bathroom was also large and practical. The bed is fluffy, and so are the bathroom towels—I believe I've never seen the towels so fluffy!
The modern Holiday Inn Rochester-Chatham hotel has fully air-conditioned bedrooms, a leisure club (with indoor swimming pool) and 24-hour room service. Children stay and eat for free!

Blinds don’t really keep out the light so if you need darkness to sleep take and eye mask.
Corner shop across the street idea for picking up and essentials such as milk, bread and news papers.
Great for families.
