    The cottage was lovely.

The cottage was lovely. However, we were greatly concerned that our medium sized car would be at risk of damage due the standard off the road driving up to the cottage. It had pot holes, width was small and bushes overhanging. If a car came from the opposite direction it would lead to a greater issue as the road is only wide enough for a single car. Access to the property was delayed as we struggled to get into the property. The hot tub was only available until 10pm from check in and not the following morning and I wouldn’t describe it as “private”. It was a great shame as the cottage was lovely but it appears like those before us, struggled with the state of the road heading up to it.

It was stunning. A beautiful wee retreat.

It was stunning. A beautiful wee retreat. Not to far from reality, but having a wee cup of tea looking out over the hills does you good. Wish we’d been able to stay a bit longer to take advantage of some of the walks in the area, and to allow the boys to get good and muddy😊

Couldn't stay any longer, no hot water so couldn't shower,...

Couldn't stay any longer, no hot water so couldn't shower, was expected to wash up so had to boil 3 kettles in order to do so but unfortunately we didn't realise there was no hot water until late, no way to contact owners except email which they didn't reply to. They said they would be around at 10pm to put chemicals in hot tub but no one came. Comfy beds but old dirty bedding. That been said, was a beautiful place, had we been able to speak to someone to get hot water I would have left a good review except for the road trying to get there. Owners didn't reply to either email I sent

Beautifully village set in the hills. Lovely area. Not much in terms of amenities, but there was a beautiful town I around 10 minutes away that had everything you would need including a few supermarkets, take aways, restaurants etc The Indian was delicious and had a very friendly owner.
